true, trueIla kuna mambo mawili tunapungukiwa.
Tulipopata uhuru tulisema ili tuendelee tunahita:
1. Watu - watu tunao
2. Aridhi - tunayo nzuri na natural resources za kutosha.
3. Siasa safi - ujamaa ulituchelewesha kiasi fulani kwa watu binafsi kujiletea maendeleo!

After reading what looks like a "Heading" to your write up and responding as I did in my last response, something kept nagging me to have a more appropriate response than the one provided earlier.I salute you all my beloved Jamiiforum members.
After that salutation, I would like to go directly to the topic as elaborated above.
Tanzania is amongst the most blessed countries in the world. Our country is blessed from a number of human resources (which is the most valuable resource ever especially if managed well), arable land (more than 45% of our land is arable), minerals (we have almost all kind of minerals including Tanzanite which up to now is only available in our country), good geographical location ( we have borders with more than 8 countries of which, many depend on our Ports to either import or export their goods since they are land locked countries), water resources (our country is crossed with rivers like river Kilombero, river Kagera, river ruaha to mention few. We also have great lakes in the region like lake Victoria of which we own 51%, lake Tanganyika almost 50%, lake Nyasa, lake Rukwa etc. Leave alone Indian ocean which is also very important in transportation and fishing activities).
Tanzania is also blessed with peace compared to other countries in the World. This is very important to both internal and external investors. This is because, no investor (be internal or external), can jeopardize his/her capital by investing where there is no peace!
But unfortunately, apart from those blessings we have, Tanzania my lovely country is counted amongst the poorest countries in the World. Our people are amongst the saddest people in the World due to their great povert surrounding them. Only very few Tanzanians manage to get all basic needs like good shelters, good and contemporary clothes, three meals per day, health facilities, communication etc..
That is so sad!
Our main problems have been triggered by some of our leaders who are not Patriotic to our country.
These leaders to my opinions need to be accused and if possible executed and their wealth which they have acquired through theft and deception should be Natinalized! This should be done to those who have still alive and to those who have died, their families should be stripped off the wealth which they inherited to those un-patriotic leaders.
We have to be serious for our country to develope.
No need of loughing to each other while things are falling apart..
Hello Tanzanians, let us wake up and start striving for our own development..
We are late for more than 50 years.
So we should work hard, day and night.
We should go running when others are walking.
We should fly when others are running.
Tanzania is a great country, and it should be regarded so by our people and our leaders.
I'm done.
I'm there sitting to be corrected.

Sisi sio sleeping giant, wala hatujawahi kuwa giant in any way, form or shape...
Sisi ni labda ni pande la gogo ambalo huku kwa nje linaonekana ni dude kubwa, lakini ndani yake kuna mchwa wanalitafuna taratibu...
Ukiligusa kwa pressure kidogo tu linamomonyoka...
It is sleeping giant.
Would you write a paragraph about Tanzanian politics so that I gauge your English proficiency relative to the creator of this thread?Impressive content but you still need to polish your English language proficiency grammar and vocabulary! It’s like a high school debating language level [emoji4]
Good writing! If you’re a junior I’m confident you will be a great writer soon. I also applaud your patriotism for our country. What’s your profession?I salute you all my beloved Jamiiforum members.

Oooh! After reading what looks like a "Heading" to your write up and responding as I did in my last response, something kept nagging me to have a more appropriate response than the one provided earlier.
So, I quickly skimped through the long essay to give me a picture of what exactly you consider to be attributes that make Tanzania the "proverbial giant that never awakens." from its long slumber.
I have a very simple answer to your and all those who keep on dreaming of a "giant" who is never existent.
My answer is this: Place South Korea on one side of the equation and Tanzania on the other side. Start analysing and evaluating all aspects of attributes possessed by each of the two countries in whatever category you like, and then come up with the answer on what makes the two countries different. Tell me which country is a true giant in every aspect of the word.
Now, in case you did not know, South Korea had merely emerged from a devastating war and terrible hunger by the time Tanzania attained its independence in 1961.
This giant of yours looks like exists in people's heads. It is a myth.
