Tanzanian actor, Steven Kanumba, dies
Steven Kanumba, one of Tanzanias most popular actors, died in the early hours of this morning. Cause of death is still sketchy. Some say a fatal car accident, others say he was killed by an actress girlfriend after a quarrel. The actor, who is a household name in Tanzania, also featured in a few Nollywood movies. He was only 28 years old. A shocking news for Tanzania and the Africa movie Industry. May his soul rest in peace.

Popular Tanzanian & Nollywood Actor, Steven Kanumba Dies, Aged 28
Steven Charles Kanumba a Tanzanian Film actor has been announced dead. The celebrated film actor passed away last night [Apr. 6]. The cause of his death hasnt been established.
Kanumba (born January 8, 1984), was a multi award winning Tanzanian actor, with a career spanning more than a decade. Kanumba had received numerous awards, including; Best Actor of the Year, 2006, Best Actor in Tanzania Award, 2007, Best Artist of the Year Award, 2007/2008.
Kanumba began acting at an early age, acting in as many church plays as he could, until he had the opportunity after leaving school to act and train with the Kaole Sanaa Group and receive special training with Dr Nyoni at the University of Dar es Salaam which served as a major stepping stone for his mainstream acting career.
Kanumba began his acting career with appearances in a host of local Tanzanian soap operas like, Jahazi, Dira and Tufani just to name a few.

[TD="align: left"] According to unconfirmed reports that people in Tanzania are sending to me, 19 year fast rising Tanzanian actress Elizabeth 'Lulu' Michaels is the person who pushed popular Tanzanian actor Steven Kanumba to his death.
According to their story, Steven and Lulu were fighting over calls that were coming on her phone while she was at his home. He demanded to see the calls and the girl wasn't ready to surrender it. While he was taking it by force, she pushed him and he fell, hitting his head hard. The fall killed him.
