Thats why WB economists concluded that SGR was uneconomical. Even with railway dev levy +passanger + cargo revenue at optimum, The minimum charge to make economic sense for the loan and insane 8% intrest is 3k per economy red class and 80k per teu..More expensive than road transport with road maitenance added.

You are the one cherry picking! Not a surprise that WB GDP figures could even be understated for their own interests! If all output of informal sector is entirely captured, that GDP would be higher!
