You were so quick to look at the figures but not the headline. It clearly says "Thika highway IMPROVEMENT project." So that was before the road was expanded to its present state, probably during construction. That was its capacity way back in 2006. Though 500k was a bit of an exegeration, the highway handles approximately 200,000 vehicles per day and remains the busiest highway in east and central Africa and one of the busiest in Africa

I have been following some threads here and I always wonder why Tz people say they have better infrastructures than Kenya especially roads. So today I have decided to open a thread comparing roads from both sides. I would like to urge our neighbours to post the pictures of videos of roads so that we can decide which part is more developed. So here I go,
