This is insults to our heroes you must be ashamed of yourself; you have been in US for quite sometime by now you should understand what military mean; it can`t believe what you said but our military fought for us; and honest speaking they did a very good job.

I am a student of history and my understanding is the students of history shouldn't come out with the same frame of mind. Take for example American students you mentioned above. Yes, they learn history. However, they have different experience and they interpret it differently.

Now concerning the topic at hand, Twalipo,Musuguri, Mboma didn't give their lives for us. So there's no need to venerate them.

There 3 levels that I am concerned with:

i. World's Military Geniuses
ii. Africa's Military Geniuses
iii. Tanzania's Military Geniuses

In this thread I am dealing with the third level/standard.

Very few Tanzanians make it into the second let alone first.

You can argue but I think Twalipo did a good job while serving as a Chief of TPDF; I am not sure which military school he attended but he was one of our own trained military personel; even though he did not attended Sundhurst that does not mean he was not genius. He hold several posts to the level of minister of defense that shows he good if not genius and to tell you the truths he was respected by all !
