Kati ya waathirika wa cutt off points Ni intake ya UDSM mwaka 2005 especial wale waliomaliza A-level March 2005 na kuambiwa wanaunganisha Chuo Kikuu. Wengi wa waliofaulu vizuri walikuta chuo kishafanya selection na nafasi zilikuwa zimejazwa kwenye programme kama LAW, PSPA, SOCIOLOGY, STATISTICS, GEOG & ENVIRONMENT, etc. hivyo waliochaguliwa wengi waliishia kupelekwa EDUCATION hasa wale waliokuwa wanatoka vijijini kumwambia mzazi siendi chuo kusoma ualimu nasubiri mwakani, Ni dhahiri ilikuwa Ni sawa na kuwafanyia dhihaka wazazi. Hivyo wengi walipelekwa DUCE na walikuwepo vijana ninaowafahamu wenye DIV I point 4, 5, 6 nyingi sana, 7, 8 na 9 zilikuwa za kufikia.
