Tevez Huyooooo!

Tevez Huyooooo!

Ronaldo also outlined his respect for Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who brought the 24-year-old to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon in 2003.

He said:
"I have said many times that it is the relationship a son has with a father. He respects me and I respect him and when one of us is talking, the other one listens.

"It is not a one-sided relationship. We both hear each other out and that is why we have got on so well.

"He taught me everything about football and I have never met a man who is so passionate about the game after so many years.

"He instilled that passion into me and he made me a winner. The most important thing he taught me is that second place is not an option.

"He also taught me lots of things in order to make me a better person and people might not understand how much time he invests in players off the pitch. But he really does and he cares about each and every one of us.

"In an ideal world. I would like him to be my life coach and for me to never leave him but that is not possible and I just have to continue my journey and hold on to what he has taught me.

"Sir Alex has shown so much confidence in me and for that I owe him everything. When I arrived - even though I did not want it - he insisted I have number seven on my shirt.

"I was very adamant that I did not want it. Then, he sat me down and told me about the history of the number seven and said ... do you understand what I am trying to say to you? I think you will be worthy of wearing this shirt.

"When I think of the greats who have worn that United shirt, I understood how much confidence he had in me. And I hope now that I am another Manchester United great who wore the most famous shirt at the club.

Du jana nimemwona Kleberson kwenye Confederation Cup ameanza kuzeeka

Mkuu Babu Ataka Kusema, naunga mkono mawazo yako.

Issue ya Tevez naona tunakuwa more emotional than rational katika kui-analyse, al in al we need to credit him kwa yale yote ambayo ameitendea Manutd. As i said ktk jukwaa letu la Manutd, twende mbele turudi nyuma Tevez doesnt worth paundi mil 30/40 (mtizamo wangu huo).

Ni kweli Manda Maradona alimwambia ili apata namba national team ahame Man U

Tevez dismay ends Man Utd stint
Premier League Manchester United
by Mandeep Sanghera - BBC Sport (U1816230) 20 June 2009

Manchester United rarely lose any player unless they want to, let alone two, but Carlos Tevez has now decided to join Cristiano Ronaldo in quitting the Premier League champions.

A souring in the relationship between club and player appears to have proved the main reason for Tevez leaving.

Man Utd announce Tevez departure

Not even the offer of a five-year deal which would have made the Argentine striker one of the highest paid earners at Old Trafford was enough to mend the broken bridges.

The club's fans recognised the value of Tevez to the team, especially after his two goals in the last four games helped clinch a third successive Premier League title and fend off the challenge of arch rivals Liverpool.

They chanted at the board as they urged the club to sign him up on a permanent basis for the £25.5m agreed when he joined in 2007.

But in the opinion of United chief executive David Gill, despite the agreed figure, they found that fee "toppy" and the delay in securing Tevez did them no favours.

"From the moment I came here I wanted to sign a longer contract," Tevez said back in September 2008.

"It would be wonderful if the chairman put a long term contract on the table for me. I would sign it without doubt."

Instead, United signed striker Dimitar Berbatov for £30.75m last summer and postponed securing Tevez as they appeared to try to bring down the pricetag.

Tevez felt he deserved more for his relentless industry on the pitch and 34 goals - 15 coming last season - in two campaigns.

He talked of being disrespected by the club and the belief that he was not getting as much first-team football as he wanted added to his unhappiness.

Ultimately, he chose not to stay and, with Manchester City and Chelsea being linked as his next port of call, he may be accused of making a money-motivated move.

But United had ample opportunity to stop Tevez's head from being swayed into a move elsewhere and manager Sir Alex Ferguson has now been left to secure replacements for two prize players in a competitive market.

"He did feel a little bit unloved," said Kia Joorabchian, who is adviser to Tevez."He made that clear through the process and I think that has forced him to move on."

Don't blame Tevez.
Man Utd had a two-year opportunity to sign Tevez on a permanent basis (since 2007) for 25.5m Sterling, but it seems their management thought it's too high. Then they signed Berbatov for 30.75m... Lol

Na anayemkimbiza Tevez ni Berbatov.

Carlos Tevez claims he knew his days at Manchester United were numbered when Dimitar Berbatov joined the club.

The Argentina striker will be playing for a new team next season after turning down a five-year contract to remain at Old Trafford.

And he felt Berbatov's arrival from Tottenham last summer, which provided further competition for places up front, proved to him his future did not lie at United.

''I am not sure where I am going to play, but I know for sure that will not be at Manchester (United),'' Tevez told TyC Sports television network.

''When I arrived I had to fight for a place like any other player. My first season was good. I was a starter or a substitute, but I respected that.

''But in my second year, after the match against Liverpool, the coach started to overlook me. The fans supported me a lot so I thought that something was going on as my performances were also good. I was a professional.

''I did not feel supported after they signed Berbatov, because I was the man for the job he was bought to do.

''Last year I was the second top-scorer after Cristiano (Ronaldo). We won two titles (the Premier League and the Carling Cup) and being shut out like this was something that I could not understand.''

Tevez added: ''They did not ask me to sign the contract. Ferguson told me not be worried about Berbatov's arrival, but I did not like it when he started to put me on the bench often. I gave my life for the Manchester United shirt.''
