Bakhresa group ni kampuni kubwa zaidi inayomilikiwa na familia nchini Tanzania ikiwa na kampuni tanzu 30 na viwanda katika nchi tisa tofauti za Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Msumbiji, Malawi, Afrika Kusini na Tanzania.

Bakhresa Group has invested $100 million (Sh255 billion) to establish a vegetable oil refinery factory in Malawi’s commercial city of Blantyre that is set to employ over 500 people.
The soybean oil refinery plant, which is 70% complete, is an addition to other business interests already established by the Tanzanian conglomerate in Malawi, which includes the popular Azam wheat flour, Azam pay services, and the production of Azam washing soap, which is among the most popular products in Malawi.
The Bakhresa Group is Tanzania’s largest family-owned business, owning 30 subsidiaries and factories in nine African countries, such as Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi, South Africa, and Tanzania, where the group’s headquarters are located.
