The ghost of Kenya's 2013 election that will not go away!

The ghost of Kenya's 2013 election that will not go away!

Kabaridi inaelekea baridi iko kwa mfupa...eti kale kamkutano unakachukulia serious! Kagame na Museveni ndio wanajua wanataka nini. Uhuru ana hangover ya the Hague

Oh mkuu independent TZ has been whisked away by western and south african powers, As far as I know hako ka meeting ka EAC makes virtually three quarters of EA...as for M7 and Kagame, they know what they want if they finally succeed to get backing from African union,
...the government of UK probably sees, profit from miraa sales as not worthy, but why is the ICC now operating within the econo-political and ethnic realm selectively targeting kenyans of certain ethnic backgrounds, in the name of enforcing 'justice' for the PEV violence...I would suppose that the rome statutes would be impartial....
.....why do ICC work with politicians, given that any judicial body should be independent...
..I would conclude that the ICC has jumped the gun, in prosecuting the Kenyan cases..., it would have left a local independent judiciary, adjudicate between, the PEV victims and the indicted...and then act as a higher appellate court
...
...By the ICC continuing to divide kenyans by...It clearly shows that international institutions can become mechanisms of creating ethnic divisions..just like in rwanda where monks and nuns from the catholic church were used to fan the Rwandan genocide...FYI

...why don't they just target the presidency as an institution? Indeed the ICC as an international institution does not lack capacity to investigate...other than relying on hearsay from the political realm as evidence...
...If they indeed have beef with uhuruto, let them solve their issues discreetly, that will indeed, instill public confidence in the ICC process

wabunge wa kenya wenyewe ndio waliotilia shinikizo hizi kesi zijadiliwe kule Hague. Walipoona ni watu wao

gun.

Umemuuliza hoja safi sana hapo juu...siku hizi sijui ukitaja Kenya basi jua unataja wakikuyu...makabila mengine

Mkuu inawezakana anafikiri yote yanayoendelea Kenya hayajulikani....sometimes we are masters of our own fate. Wakiendelea hivi wanavyofanya watatumbikia shimoni haraka kuliko ilivyotegemewa.

Duh hii mambo mbona siku zinavyosonga mbele UhuRuto wanazidi kuanikwa.

Mkuu,

hii kauli ya mwenyekiti wa IEBC ndio inamaliza mchezo...kura zimeibiwa.

"The MPs said the demand was in line with parliamentary procedures and was meant to ensure truthfulness.

Mr Hassan and his team declined and stormed out in protest, halting the meeting temporarily.

He argued that he and others were on a fast and that it would be wrong to lie under oath in the holy month of Ramadhan."

Sawa nakuabali mwenzangu na uhuruto wamesema they will follow through with the cases, otherwise what about the future, if a certain precedence is always observed b4 any future election by the ICC, and where international sanctions loom, woun't this be a recipe for open hostilty, and impartiality,...we know where we have been during the pev 08/07, another method would b necessary,

To them, this admission that essentially around one million more Kenyans voted for the presidential candidates but did not vote for any of the other offices (Governor, Senator, MP etc) was a bombshell.

After all, none of the multiple teams of election observers noted what surely would have been difficult to miss: one million voters casting presidential ballots and deciding not to vote for any other of the offices.

It is very easy,,,ask,, i Jammu,,how i voted and will tell you,,
for free.

Do not rely on those,,sijui,,elections observers,,for they were not
allowed to watch or see what we were ticking on those ballot
papers.

When i got into the room,,,one of those streams where elections
were being conducted,,,i was issued with six ballot papers and
straight,,went into the presidential one,,,located where Uhuru
Kenyatta was,,,,carefully,,,made a clean mark,,,him as my
choice.

After that,,,i never cared what happened to the rest five other
ballot papers.

I do not even remember choosing the governor and county rep.

Up to today,,,i do not know the name of my governor.

Is it a crime,,,,to choose the president and leave the other
ballot papers,,,intact??????????????

Wacheni kujisumbuuuuuua na mambo yaliopita,,,,next time,,,
let allow the so called,,,, election observers to watch
while we,,,Kenyans,,,are voting so that they can
count and satisfy some people like the author of
this thread and some funny papers like that one
known as Star.

For the time being,,,unless they are angels,,,those
observers are of no help,,

Kabaridi, ..you got it wrong again..ebu angalia mambo yanavyoenda kule tume ya uchaguzi yenu..ni wazi kwamba hassan anaona aibu kurelease matokeo kwa sababu maesabu hayaendani..kwa nini mnawatetea watu ambao hawakupaswa kuwa viongozi wenu, kisa kabila lako..ebu angalia migogoro ya sasa waalimu wamegoma wiki ya 3 watoto wa maskini hawajasoma, huku wengine wakikodi ndege kwenda kutafuta uungwaji wa mkono kwa makosa yao..leo hii wapinzani wanatishwa kufungwa eti wanaikosoa serikali rejea kauli ya ruto kwa odinga...roho mbaya ya wakikuyu your lords kibaridi ya kuzania kwamba wao ndio kabila muhimu kuliko yote hapo kenya...kwa sasa kenya inazama kwa siasa za kimataifa, biashara za kenya(miraa) zimeanza kupigwa marufuku.over billions wamepoteza wafanya biashara kisa siasa za wakikuyu na kalenjin wachache..sisi yetu macho lakin tambueni Tanzania tunawapiku soon katika medani za kisiasa za kimataifa na utalii.

Umeongea vizuri sana mwanzo, but mwishoni mmmmmmmmmmmmmmh! Tanzania kuwapiku wakenya ktk utalii na siasa za kimataifa? KWA LIPI HASA?

Let me reiterate mwenzangu, the trouble is that human beings do not understand that brewing animosity against certain tribes is not the key to unlocking tribalism…it only tends to exacerbate tribalism..if, you carefully look at the Rwandan situation before the 94 genocide, and the assassination of hutu leader, hutu extremists became keen about entrenching tribal immortality and in the end look at their actions, because they were tired of tutsi political domination…they killed hundreds if not thousands…

....Rwanda has never been the same again since then...A clear demonstration for us to witness..We have made great economic strides and secured enough independence economically speaking....else, if we follow the route that you are talking about, we risk being dolls at the mercy of the world-bank, IMF and other superpowers...Unlike other countries, we are lucky that we are not used being tossed about by the diplomatic community, but it may reach such a point...

..that is the potential risk…They only begin to assassinate themselves, i.e. where a certain tribe tries to entrench its immortality. Tushatoka kwenye minyororo ya udikteta into a democratic phase, and currently we do not need saba-saba type of movements…because such movements and their agitation..only tends to overshadow the real underlying challenges that face the wananchi and stiffen governments....

…After, all..the by-products of the saba-saba movement struggled to dethrone moi, but all the fruits of their labor was given as charity to kibaki, who was not formally of saba-saba and was comfortably tucked in DP democratic party… That alone is what has caused Kenya pain, shame and agony of a civil war since independence in 1963....that nearly brought the country to the brink of destructions..because somebody somewhere believed all along he was owed something!..

If you look closely at the kenyan geographic and political structures, From the beginning, the reformers were wrong, about Devolution eliminating tribalism, it only opens economic opportunities to the regions,,, but does not indeed help in detribalizing the nation, but deepens its root...

..Again, what is popularized by politicians is not always critical to the improvement of the lives of the people...someone is looking to use 65% of county cash of devolution on recurrent expenditure, salaries and county govt operations, and thirty five percent on development...on that note, if you take Nairobi county on such a perspective and inflation biting...then that is a daylight rip-off....Worse, still if you take turkana county that needs replenishment on such a perspective, when are we going to replenish such areas...50 years after independence..

…Times have changed, and politics of ethnicity must disappear…We have all the reformed institutions necessary, (electorate, judiciary, national assembly) and representation has increased thrice as much of the former system of governments..(governors, senators, womens rep, county rep, county commissioners..etc..)
You have all the institutions necessary to play your cards…have a nice day.

Forms 34 missing on IEBC website

BY OLIVER MATHENGE

AN audit of the March 4 election results has revealed that 2,585 out of 32,095 polling streams are still missing Forms 34 on the official IEBC website.

Mars Group Kenya has said although the results of the missing streams were not included, the audit identified discrepancies between the Presidential tally announced by the IEBC and the figure computed from the Form 34 sheets the commission made public.

"We do note, however, that whereas the missing stream Forms 34 may reduce the overall discrepancy in county election results, the Form 34 discrepancies suggests a serious tallying problem that could alter the official final national presidential vote tally per candidate that was announced by the IEBC," the lobby group said in its report yesterday.

The IEBC, however, defended itself in a statement to the Star that all the physical forms are available and safely stored.
IEBC communication officer Andrew Limo said they are checking if there are any missing forms as alleged. He said those that are not available will be uploaded.

"We are checking if the forms were not scanned and uploaded to the website. But we have all the hard copies safely stored and their contents were captured in the tabulation of the results. We will upload any missing copy," Limo said.

According to the audit, the missing forms must produce 943,520 votes with President Uhuru Kenyatta's being 360,370 against former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's 467,305 for the IEBC official results to be correct and valid.
