3. Fulham landed five new players on deadline day and 12 in total. They spent £110m. Signings: André-Frank Zambo Anguissa (Marseille, £30m), Jean Michael Seri (Nice, £25m), Aleksandar Mitrovic (Newcastle, £22m), Alfie Mawson (Swansea, £15m), Maxime Le Marchand (Nice, £7.5m), Joe Bryan (Bristol City, £6m), Fabricio Agosto Ramirez (Besiktas, £5m), Andre Schurrle (two-season loan, Borussia Dortmund), Calum Chambers (Arsenal, loan) Sergio Rico (Sevilla, loan), Luciano Vietto (Atletico Madrid, loan), Timothy Fosu-Mensah (Manchester United, loan).

6. Everton left it late to finish their business, adding three more players on deadline day to take their summer spending to around £86m. 7. Arsenal ended the window with five new players, at a cost of £71.4m. Signings: Stephan Lichtsteiner (Juventus, free), Lucas Torreira (Sampdoria, £26.5m), Bernd Leno (Bayer Leverkusen, £19.2m), Sokratis Papastathopoulos (Borussia Dortmund, £17.7m), Matteo Guendouzi (Lorient, £8m).
8. Manchester United failed to land a host of their top targets, as they brought in just three players at a cost of £64.2m. Signings: Fred (Shakhtar Donetsk, £43.7m), Diogo Dalot (Porto, £19m), Lee Grant (Stoke City, £1.5m).
9. Wolves splashed out on 13 new players, spending £62.6million.
