The problem with Kenya

The problem with Kenya

They have ye exposure but yet they think the whole world is in Nairobi. Tanzania chose the other way round that every one should benefit from what the nation earn. You meanwhile everyone is to hustle and get a way to live in Nairobi. We chose not construct 6 lanes way in dar in order to to have all ways from north to south, we chose not only dar to develope but all regions. So make a visit to Tanzania once and make all this trash u talk here

''You chose not to construct 6 lanes highway in Dar'' - BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO MONEY.

Kenya constructed an 8 lane highway and still constructs more roads countrywide than Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Burundi combined.

Know your place.. LDC

Don't be silly amd Shimo la tewa Haikukutosha?

If you have been to Dodoma then huwezi kuwa na such kind of thoughts.. Dom as a capital city have the biggest university in the entire EA and central Africa and don't forget about the parliament or the ongoing massive construction of Government buildings. Brother DODOMA is a next big thing in Tanzania which is even threatening the supremacy of existing cities in exclusion of Dar and Mwanza

Lol.
By what metric is Dodoma university the biggest in East Africa?

By student population, it has 25,000.
University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, Moi University, Egerton have more.

University of Nairobi has almost 100,000 students.
KU and Moi University have over 70,000 students each.

By courses offered, Dodoma is nowhere close to Kenyan universities.

By research conducted and papers published, Dodoma is in the same league with Kiriri Women Univeristy.

By built up area, Dodoma University is about the same as a small college in Kenya.

The only thing Dodoma University beats Kenyan universities is total land. 6000 acres of plain barren land, which you mistakenly think equate to the bigness of a university.
Even in 1000 years, you will not build up 10% of that land.

If we go with your thinking, Dodoma University is bigger than Harvard, MIT, Oxford... and I would think 99% of all major universities on the planet.

Tanzania muache vichekesho.

Enough with all these threads tz vs kenya: its high time for special development threads to take over than these useless battles, no one has benefited from these threads since they started, why dont citizens join together instead of battling: kenya has its problems, tz has its problems too, some of kenya problems can be solved by Tanzanians while some of Tanzanians problems can be solved by kenyans: without forgeting the platform is here, why dont citizens use this platform to tackle the challenges in a bussiness view, why dont people join together, is it that hard?

that's very hard , I can tell a reason.

What can kenya do for Tanzania?? May be Stealing.

Are you seeing the difference? That's why your people flood our towns and cities kuomba omba because they know where they can get help.

You 've got a point since Dar used to be both commercial (port) and capital city of Tanzania. All necessary investments were done in DSM which in return created the chaos we are seeing right NOW

But that was in the past the same as Kenya was before the development of devolution system and the construction of highways & SGR which have beautified the whole of Kenya.

Devolution is the only answer to national development. Rehabilitating towns will never make Tanzania developed uniformity. Lazima serekali ikae na raia ndio wajue mashida zenu. Kenya is developing as a country and already NAIROBI is perfectly positioned as an inland Commercial hub in East Africa while Mombasa is the Coastal gateway to East Africa. Kisumu is on its way to take the crown from Kampala and Mwanza in the great Lake.
That's what we call strategy.

Mbona unasema eti Kisumu is on its way to overtake Kampala and Mwanza? Mwanza has never been in the level of Kisumu and will never. Just google the second most important city in lake Victoria then give me the feedbavk

Labda rushwa mkijitahidi mnaweza kuipunguza pakubwa.

I think devolution is great and will develop Tanzania very fast but it will endanger our national unity and produce long lasting negative impacts for generations. As Tanzanians, we are more than united regardless of all the tribes and religions we have but these divisions are still existing; they are not powerful due to the existing system. If you want to know more about what im talking about, just learn how Nyerere killed tribalism in Tanzania

Hii ID haifanyi unnecessary battles. Thanks for the comment

Hii ni ill educated opinion ya kijinga sana.Tis like sayin you're gonna starve your best milk producing cow to feed the smaller goats.Sisi tunajua maana ya kukuza GDP na ndio hatuwezi starve Nairobi of badly needed 6 lane roads. Even London Houston Texas ,Toronto ,Dubai kunazo barabara pana zaidi sababu wanajua umuhimu wa city freeways.

Hapa unatambulisha kuwa haujatembea na kujua Kenya. The 6 lane highway was to allow people from central and northern Kenya have easy access to Nairobi, not to develop Nairobi but allow a factory to be built in those regions have easy acces to market. Therefore developing central and northern Kenya. Results, Tatu city came up, Thika and central grew much more because people could live there and work in Nairobi, Isiolo got developed, coffee and miraa from central reached market faster. Devolution reserves money from Kenya's income straight into counties, president doesn't decide to favour one region or use all all the money in big projects starving regions of development. SGR has benefited Mombasa more than Nairobi because many tourists can be delivered into Mombasa thousands at a go. Narok and Kisumu will benefit next.
Ukweli ni kuwa Kenya imeamua development ya kila region kwa constitution ,sio Rais ana amua. This is opposite of Tz.
