The Tanzania Democracy Forum 2024: Towards an Inclusive, Participatory Democracy in the United Republic of Tanzania

The Center for Strategic Litigation (CSL), in collaboration with Waandishi wa Habari za Maendeleo Zanzibar (WAMAHAZA), Tanzania Centre for Democracy (TCD), and the Legal and HUman Rights Center (LHRC) are conducting the Tanzania Democracy Forum 2024.
The objectives of this forum were to assess the current state of democracy in Tanzania through evidence-based analysis, review the political economy of democracy to identify weaknesses and opportunities and identify actionable pathways for reinstating and strengthening Tanzania's democracy.
The event was held on 16th and 17th May 2024 in Zanzibar at Golden Tulip Hotel.
