Tiger Woods Admits to Affair in Press Release

Tiger Woods made a statement to the press on his website he opened up by saying,
"I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves.
I am not without fault and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal feelings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone."
I completely agree with Tiger Woods, especially after admitting to the affair, that the dealings with the situation should be among the family and out of the public. He is smart to realize that the public does not go easy on celebrities gone bad, and to stay out of their view--unlike other celebrities...ahem Lindsay Lohan and Jon Gosselin.
Tiger Woods car crash was the spark that ignited the interest and inquiries of the affair, after the National Inquirer reported that Woods was having an affair with Rachel Uchitel. Uchitel denied these allegations. However another woman came out saying that she was the real mistress to Tiger Woods, Jaimee Grubbs, a 24-year-old cocktail waitress.
US Weekly reported an alleged phone conversation between Woods and Gubbs:
"Hey, it's Tiger," a man says in the recording. "I need you to do me a huge favor. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you.
"So if you can, please take your name off that. ... What do you call it? Just have it as a number on the voice mail. Just have it as your telephone number. That's it, OK? You got to do this for me. Huge. Quickly. All right. Bye."
However no one can confirm that the voice on the phone is Woods.
There are many critics of Tiger Woods and his affair, the way he is handling the press releases and not talking. I think he is doing the absolute right thing. If any of us were in his situation we would want to be handling this behind closed doors as well. No one wants a huge public ordeal--especially when you are a celebrity. I do not think the public has a right to intrude or invade on the matter, history shows it only makes matters worse. Woods is smart to step out of the lime light and take care of his family values.
Also why is no one calling these women out? Come on ladies, yes are men give in to indiscretions but ladies we have to protect other women. If the guys is married let him go, respect his wife, if they are not going to we need to. Hopefully the press will leave Tiger to deal with his issues at home and not turn it into a huge spectacle.

Elin Nordegren can’t stand to be in the same house with Tiger Woods, according to a new report.

Woods’ ex-model wife has moved out of the couple’s palatial Florida home, Radaronline.com reported. Nordegren now is in a nearby home.

The revelation follows more than a week of reports about women who’ve had relationships with the world’s No. 1 golfer. The total is up to nine.

An unidentified woman has been taken away in an ambulance from a house on the street in Florida where golfer Tiger Woods lives, reports say.

Local television stations in Orlando said a call for an ambulance had been received from Woods' home in the gated Isleworth community at 0236 (0736 GMT).
TV footage showed a woman being wheeled on a stretcher into a nearby hospital.

Last week, Woods apologised to his family for letting them down amid speculation about his private life.
The statement came days after he was found bleeding and semi-conscious after his car hit a tree and fire hydrant outside his home, and followed a story in a US gossip magazine that he had had a 31-month affair with a Los Angeles cocktail waitress.

Woods was later charged with careless driving and fined $164.
The 14-time major champion has been married to his Swedish wife Elin, a former model, for five years. The couple have two children.
'Life support'

On Tuesday morning, a spokeswoman for the Orange County Fire Rescue service told the Associated Press that medics had responded to an overnight 911 emergency call from Deacon Circle in Isleworth, and that an adult had been taken to hospital.

But she would not say whether the call had come from Tiger Woods' home, or if the person who received treatment had been a woman.
The Orlando television station, WESH, reported earlier that a radio log showed an adult woman had been transported from Woods' home to the Health Central Hospital in nearby Ocoee.
The log showed the patient had initially refused transport, but was later listed as an advance life support patient, it added.
WESH said the video from the hospital showed a blonde woman being taken through the entrance to the emergency room.
A black Cadillac Escalade, with a number plate similar to the one involved in Woods' car crash, was reportedly seen at the hospital.
The information has not been independently confirmed.

Media attention has been focused on the world's No. 1 golfer since he hit a hydrant and a tree around 2:25 a.m. on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The Florida Highway Patrol last week cited Woods for careless driving and fined him $164.
The accident — and Woods' refusal to answer questions about it — fueled speculation about a possible dispute between him and his wife, Elin.
Just days before the crash, a National Enquirer story alleged Woods had been seeing a New York nightclub hostess, Rachel Uchitel, who has denied it. After the crash, Us Weekly reported that a Los Angeles cocktail waitress named Jaimee Grubbs claims she had a 31-month affair with Woods.
Last week, Woods issued a statement saying he had let his family down with unspecified "transgressions" that he regrets with "all of my heart." He did not elaborate.
A police report on the crash released Monday showed that a Florida trooper who suspected Woods was driving under the influence sought a subpoena for the golfer's blood results from the hospital he was taken to after the crash, but prosecutors rejected the petition for insufficient information.
A witness, who wasn't identified in the report, told trooper Joshua Evans that Woods had been drinking alcohol earlier. The same witness also said Woods had been prescribed two drugs, Ambien and Vicodin.
The report did not say who the witness was but added it was the same person who pulled Woods from the vehicle after the accident. Woods' wife, Elin, has told police that she used a golf club to smash the back windows of the Cadillac Escalade to help her husband out. His injuries were minor.
The sister of a neighbor who called 911 after the crash told troopers that Woods' mother, Kultida, and mother-in-law, Barbro Holmberg, were also at the scene, but the AP has not been able to confirm that.
Eva Malmborg, a spokeswoman for Holmberg, said Tuesday that she could not comment on the reports about a woman being taken from Woods' neighborhood to the hospital.
"I haven't been in contact with her and like I said I don't know where she is — and so I can neither confirm or deny anything," Malmborg said.

Malmborg confirmed Holmberg had taken a week's leave from her job as Gavleborg county governor in central-east Sweden, but said she did not know where Holmberg had gone.
There was no sign of emergency workers later Tuesday morning at the Woods' gated community, where luxury SUVs and cars drove in and out as a few reporters and television news trucks milled around outside.
