The reason for reviving ATCL is to boost tourism and airport services business. Also Tz has a very high potential for Horticulture even better than kenya and as the Tz expands into this sector there is need of a reliable cargo carrier in the form of ATCL

As for KQ, there is just need to stop digging..The losses they pass to taxpayers is enough to cancell out any additional taxes that is generated from businesses related to KQ

You just said the reason for TZ to revive ATCL is to boost tourism and horticulture .... KQ's loss was about $80 million last year....In the same years horticulture generated about $1.2B for Kenya while tourism is also about $1.3B....

Now if ATCL manages to transport these tourists and hoticulture susccefully,it will be a boost to Tz tourism and horticulture.... However, this wont be directly propotional to ATCL profitability, for all we know ATCL could be flying at a loss while boosting tourism and horticulture industry ..... But because of your double statndards yu will choose to see the benefit of tz having an airline and choose not to see the same for Kenya..... I am very sure the day ATCL finally starts to release financial statements and we see that they have been making loses all along, you will come up with some explanation of how TZ economy and its people has benefited by having an airline..

My friend joto la jiwe you are simply mistaking your unity and politeness for democracy,now here is the thing,let me dig a little deeper.Democracy is only one element coexisting in a social fabric of many and varied institutions,political parties,organasitions and associations.this diversity is called pluralism and its assumes that many organized groups and institutions in a democratic society do not depend upon government for their existence,legitimacy or authority,for instance in Tz CCM is government and government is CCM,it is the order of the day.its machinery and state capture is too deep and entrenched to tolerate dissidence.your opposition is practically dead and voiceless,civil society is non existant,civil liberties ,labour unions are tightly choked and whiped to shape..but take a look at kenya its the exact replica,protests are the order of the day,our nurses are at it again,our constitutional court is about to decriminalize lgbt activities,heck we even overturned a presidential election..do you still need more proof.look,thousands of private organizations operate in a democratic society,some local,some national,many of them serve a mediating role between individuals and the complex social and government institutions of which they are part,filling roles not given to the government and offering individuals to exercise their rights and responsibilities as citizens of a democracy.these groups represents the interest of their members in a variety of ways by sipporting candidates for public office,debating issues and trying to influence policy decesions.through such groups individuals have an avenue for meaningful participation both in government and their own communities ,,,nuff said
