It's time again to look at the value for taxpayers' money in these two projects. Though three Chinese contractors i.e. Synohydro, Wu Yi n Shengli Engineering built Thika's 40 km Highway that claimed to be superhighway by Kenyans, Kibaha's 19 km Highway is to be built by native Tanzanians.

In fact highways like this one don't make news here anymore..unless when they are being commissioned. And now you are talking of roads you are planning to build vs roads we have already built.Magufuli is on another level, Even if you personally hate him, you cannot argue with his infrastructure development projects.
In just 3 years, he has done what kibaki and Uhuru have done in 20 years. Its almost impossible to count the number of projects he is doing, from SGR, superhighways, airports, ATCL planes, Bagamoyo, Crude pipeline, gas pipeline, mega bridges,mega hydro dams

JPM has been in power for just 3 years..Every week he is either commissioning a new road, bridge or receiving new planes. You may hate him but you cannot compare his work ethic with anyone. You are comparing a 40kms road built 10yrs ago, with a road yet to be built... without even giving the specifications of the roads..
at least state main and service lanes, under-passes and overpasses , flyovers etc of the 2 roads..
I expect a person who has the capability of creating an account on an online forum to have some intelligence to at least say the specs of what is being built. Give the specifications of the road TZ is building and then come compare with Thika Rd. And then wait to see the complete project.. then we can talk..You still fall on the same lane...for the road built 10yrs ago this means also the cost would be low,since the construction prices increasing year to year...the same road if would be built today,the cost would be doubled..40kms road built 10 yrs ago for $365 mills it's a shame
