Thika Highway ($360mln) vs Kibaha Highway ($65 mln)

Don't compare oranges with apples.

View attachment 972899

You are comparing a 40kms road built 10yrs ago, with a road yet to be built... without even giving the specifications of the roads..
at least state main and service lanes, under-passes and overpasses , flyovers etc of the 2 roads..

a strange thing. an old road cost has high rate of construction per km compared to a proposed one.
please try to think Value for Money and Time Value of Money.

Tanzania is known for having poor quality roads. Locals r gonna construct this one so after few years we should expect sth lyk this.
Thisis uhuru road in darislum builtafew yrs ago.Thika superhighway shouldn't be compared with the upcoming hogwash!

Mbuzi huwa hai reason kama vile wewe.usinipe sababu ya kukuweka kundi hilo.

For that cost,
thika was $9m per km
And that of chalinze $3.2m per km.

Can you please show us where $5.7m gone per every single km!!!!tuache ushabiki stori tu za kawaida kujengana.

Ahaaa haaa haaa
na wee akili yako unaijua mwenyewe.
tunaongelea bandari inataka kuondoka, halafu wewe unaleta mapicha mapicha.

isitoshe hayo mafuriko Kenya ndo usiseme. ngoja wakuletee mapicha uone.
Duh!this thread is about two superhighways(one functional and the other one'still on the air') and not about bandari!.Now,bring them on.picha za mafuriko.

ok now, compare and contrast the cost of construction per km between the two projects.

Quality matters. What's your preference? High cost and good quality or low cost but poor services? πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Ahaaa haaa haaa
what's quality?
we are not talking about magauni au mablauzi yenu. it's about road construction projects discussion. we talk about specification and design.

Ningekuwa sijui kiingereza, ningesema labda kingereza kigumu nimeshindwa kuelewa. Completely nashindwa kuelewa nini kinaongelewa hapa!

You should be ashamed of yourself.
Why are you comparing Thika road to whatever you are building?

That Kibaha is at best comparable to Outering road which we are just now finishing, or Southern bypass.
Bado hamjafika level ya Thika road. And this says a lot since we're talking 10 years later.

Also, Kenyans moved on from Thika road. We're not a one hit wonder country. Just because we don't post every project on JF doesn't mean nothing is happening.
Leta barabara moja Tanzania as beautiful and gorgeous as Dongo Kundu or Ngong road.

Watanzabia washamba ndio wana amka sasa kelele., tumepiga hatua kadhaa zaidi yao, inawauma!., they dont understand what is factored in the cost ya Thika road, hawajui kuna compensations zililipwa, especially around Muthaiga which is an expensive area, kuna tunnels, of which Kibaha haina., its longer., mifala inafikiria ni per km pekee., ujinga si ugonjwa kweli., ni laana.
