Below are a few things i would rather our national 'Mjomba' doesn't do:-
1.called to the White House just because 'he was in the neighbourhood',he had no prior invitation.
2.attend a conference in Washington that our Embassy could have sent a second secretary(Kenya's Embassy didn't even send a person-it was that low key)
3.collect an award at a medical conference in Los Angeles that our health minister could do on his behalf and network better with his fellow doctors.
4.our foreign minister telling us one of his biggest achievements this year is arranging 'Mjomba's' visit to Australia in December.
 
mjomba hawezi kukusikiza ..........kwa sababu hayo ulomkataza asifanye kwake yeye ndio ujiko.

Hii ni kiboko, Huyo ni waziri mwenye mamlaka makubwa ndio anasema maneno haya. Kweli Tanzania ina watu vichwa sana.
 
Hiyo ya kuwa 'called to the White House when they learned of his presence in Washington' inashusha sana heshima ya nchi.Ilitakiwa akiwa hapa wizara ya mambo ya nje na state department wangewasiliana na kutayarisha ijulikane siku na saa hata kabla ya kusafiri.
 
They said that he was invited only when they found out he was coming.. sasa jamani head of state ana A1 Visa na akisafiri it entails some security arrangements with the local forces zamarekani..the FBI, Secret Service wana protect foreign dignitaries na wanajua wote waliopo na wanaokuja.. Hawezi kwenda marekani kwenye medical foundation without the Department of State knowing.. THat is a lie because it is against protocol. That statement came out after people made too much of the visit.. Kenyans were speculating too much and even the international media.. That is why they responded with that statement and even the PR guy at the Embassy in Dar had to issue a statement.. How gulliable are you people if u believe that the US gov ddnt know.. And I think ur seeing the small picture too much in ur criticism, a factor that eats at its credibility.

Man, You are correct!

He was calling to the State frequently requesting to visit Obama. However, it was unsuccessful till he forced to go without being invited!

If you follow well the outcome of his trip is nothing more than expenses to tax payers. Had he been invited they could have set the timeframe for whatever they discussed e.g delivery of MCC money etc.

This is one of the indicators that our "MJOMBA" is a "PROFESSIONAL GATECRUSHER"

This just undermines the little credibility that JF has. How can anyone in this forum be taken seriously in their critique of the affairs of our Nation if people keep posting these unfounded and calumnious threads. It just goes to show the very low swampy level of political commentary and by implicature lack understanding of the way governments operate the relationships between them, and in particular the form which they take. I think it is dissapointing when people use freedom of speech in a manner that undermines the platform itself by making it look like a cartel of morons. Infact I belive the damege which it does is soo bad because in a forum of serious minds, the voice of irrationality stands out more to an outsider than the many voices of reason.

According to Stephanie Engle,director of Water for Life Global which is a US non-profit organisation that hosted an event in honour of President Kikwete, the White House extended the invitation to the visiting Tanzanian president on learning of his presence in the American capital.

The fact remains the White House visit had not been previously scheduled and was hastily arranged while 'Mjomba' was in DC.
 
So yu people intend to suggest that He should have declined because it wasnt pre-arranged! That is a bit extreme. All I see is an unfair judgement just because hammpendi. Jaribuni kuwa objective. Foreign head of state akiwa in Tanzania for official business with local organizations alafu akaalikwa ikulu inamaana mngetegemea akatae... That is most ridiculous..
