top 10 most profitable banks in East Africa..no Tanzanian and Ugandan bank in Top 10

Someone is saying ask Rotich, the CS, the other says ask Ole Lenku, my governor. I just can't believe that the levels of stupidity here on this forum, for some people, can't even match up to those of a Std. 4 dropout. COLLOH-MZII RELOADED don't accept to downgrade your grey matter. Assume and ignore are the magical key words.

Fools, Have you ever asked yourselves why Kenyan Banks Make Super profits in africa? Do you think its because they have a huge credit worthy base of SMEs and Individual customers?
I have told you and will tell you again, banks in kenya are all about doing business with the government, and this is through T-bonds mostly fast maturing 90 day bonds that are renewed immediatly they fall due. The government is always broke, KRA cannot collect enough money and most of it is eaten by corruption.Hence the government survives by borrowing from banks.
In other words, the single most profitable venture in kenyan banks is T bonds and consessional loans. We are borrowing eurobond to clear part of these consesional loans from baclays/ stanchart, These loans are paid using your Taxes,
So its very foolish for someone to wank over bank super profits when they are involved in eating our taxes.

You are a fool, you regurgitate data without understanding it, and even worse, you come here to measure your dick with it.
Private lending by banks has consistently been falling from 2013. so where is this "new" business that banks are cashing in on? And why do you think Uhuru insisted that lending rates be below 14% per cent? you think it was for your CRB blacklisted ass? The new lucrative business my friend is called GoK. And loans obtained from banks is paid with your smelly 1027 bob you get paid to defecate here.

I agree with you [emoji817]% even here in Tanzania the trend is the same banks don’t do loans any more or buy shares all they do is trade With government Bonds for assured returns. I agree it’s niche business like for people who make decisions on money in the region.

I know its painful since no Tanzanian bank made it in the top ten..swallow the bitter pill
The hell? Am trying to advice you not to over ejaculate when you see "huge" bank profits from kenyan banks, You should know that its your taxes they collect in intrest payments because of your irresponsible govt is so corrupt all money is stolen before its even used

Ask those banks who is their biggest client..The broke ass kenya government! Whats their fav instrument they buy from tresury? fvck short end 90day T-bills to maximize their profits.
Tumia kichwa kwanza na ujue kwanini kenyan banks are most profitable in africa.
And the small matter of non performing loans? enda hapo uone maajabu, you will know who is killing SMEs in kenya.
Summary, tumia akili baba
Tatizo kubwa la watz we are ignorant about commercial knowledge.
