Tume ya Taifa Maridhiano, NCIC imetoa wito kwa Mgombea yeyote wa kiti cha Urais atakayeshindwa baaada ya Matokeo kutangazwa, kukubali na kawasiliana na Mshindi ili kupata amani

Mwenyekiti wa NCIC, Samuel Kobia amesema leo kuwa Uchaguzi ulikuwa wa amani, na kuongeza kuwa Wagombea wote wawili wanapaswa kutafuta mbinu ya kufanya kazi pamoja

The National Cohesion and Integration Commission has called on the person that will win the Kenyan election to reach out to the opponents for peace.

Speaking on Monday, NCIC chairman Samuel Kobia said the election was peaceful, adding that the two leaders should also forge a way of working together.

"We urge the winner to reach across the divide to make peace and forge a way forward... We ask for the runner to be dignified and treated with decorum," he said in a statement to the press.

Kobia commended leaders who have already conceded defeat, insisting that it is the way others should follow.
