What is this obsession with things Uhuru does, don't you guys have something else to do other than following just this one person? So where is Kikwete today? In Arusha? I obviously do not know coz i don't fancy trailing other Nation's leaders. We tend to stoop so low at times just to get a point to discredit others. I guess Tanzanians know more about Uhuru than Kikwete.

nah i am not obsessed with UK but i just realized how his irrelevance play at International stage! Imagine Government spokesperson/state house saying he is going to China then retract the statement saying Russia then again retracting the statement saying Burundi! How is Burundi equal to China or Russia? Wait a minute, Isn't that the sign of those two superpowers (China and Russia) ignoring Kenya as well? :twitch:

geza, at some point putting away the perennial love/hate affair with Kenyans, u indeed talk sense. It was a big mistake to overtly denounce the west. The Chinese and Ruskies also feel Kenya lost her bargaing clout, (the west), and are more free to set terms of appointment, how they want it to be, when it shall be, and how they'll shag our resources, etc. No different from the west. Risky opportunity costing by this govt which was recklessly executed to merely pass a message.
However, the president may still travel to Russia or china later but not soon......
I am not against the Burundi trip though, lets see what is being prepped here....maybe the govt side does see sth i don't.
