Uhuru Win triggers violence in parts of Kenya...

I might be wrong but I kind of sense uchaguzi huu, umeamsha class war between young people who are college graduate supporting Jubilee vs law income NOT college graduate supporting NASA.

No. It is actually the pipo of the same class group but with different political support turning against each other here.

The poor attacking the poor, the middle class, even if they do not actually turn to taking up arms or demonstrate in tge streets, the are involved in the spreading of incendiary comments on social media against the supporters of the other political group...or rather tribe.

This is what is happening in Kenya right now, and it might escalate in the coming days, depending on what the Nasa party says tommorow.

It is tribal, not classist.

My relative stays at Otonglo, about 7km from Ksm city, and she says they can actually smell the teargas!!!

Juja Road, 3unconfirmed deaths and that road impassable.

Kibera sounds like a war zone...

Lowassa tulimtuma akauwe chama na 2020 Chadema aka Chadeko mtakuwa kama TLP. Cuf itakuwa na wabunge wengi kuliko chadeko. Wait and see. Pia muda wa kampeni tunaupunguza.
Duh...!

Huyu Raila si akubali tu kushindwa?? Kwani ni lazima awe Rais?

Mbona mzee wetu Lowassa alikubali kwa amani tu?

Kibera, Mathare, Eastleigh and several other parts of Nairobi are rocked by violent protests or celebrations at this very moment in the wake of Uhuru Kenyatta's declaration as winner of this yr's elections .

My friend Cathy who works at Pumwani Hosp. is currently held up at that hospital due to the running violence and sporadic gunshots.

Kisumu is in the throes of very shameful orgy of violence and destruction of property. Gunshots and running battles btwn the protesters and the police happening at this very moment in tgat city. Power supply has been disrupted in many neighborhoods thea.

I can hear the screams and wailings and whistlings in the street close to where I stay I can tell it is a jubilant crowd celebrating the outcome of tge elections. But in Kibera, not far from where I stay, I can make out the sounds of violence- explosions and poignant screams emanating frm that part of Nairobi.

Cant confirm about the riots in Mombasa.
I have seen on twitter photos of two people shot dead. One on the chest and
one on the head. They are too graphic to post here. I saw one on cyprian nyakundi's handle. Here it is
