The USA has refused to Allow Alshabab to be declared by UN security council as a Terrorist Group.
British and Nowegian companies are the major buyers of the ocean area rich in oil and Gas from somalia

@Mkikuyu Akili-timamu the same US that is blowing up alshabab using drones, most alshabab leaders have been felled by US drones-thats what matters, its a practical solution than mere labelling organisations terrorist groups, britain and norwegian behind somalia ocean claims-those are conspiracy theories-non verifiable rumours

This looks like it will be very messy, inside Somalia all guns are pointed at Kenya, in the ocean border dispute ,some of these foreign powers are silently supporting Somalia because they know it will be easy to buy the blocks at a throw away price..

But Ethiopia should tread carefully, if they think they can sustain a military logistics supply line all the way to Kismayu to face Kenya they will be humiliated..

We Kenyans should not even flinch, we know we have the final cards under the table...

Tusiombee itokee vita maana majilan watajaa wengi sana TZ, pia tutakosa watu wa kutaniana nao maana kila kukicha itakua kupeana pole tu.

vulcan don't buy into these rumuors,if only you can understand the kind of military support kenya gets from US and britain, its hard for them to support somalia.still its hard for the western powers to support or tolerate a war in east africa, the last thing they want is destabalised region.

They are allies but Americans are snakes, we can trust Britain more, they are more reliable. That is the only reason that would keep US from supporting Somalia, because they would not want to be fighting their old allies.
Only that, otherwise US would easily arm Somalia against Kenya if their interests demand so.

vulcan trump is now POTUS,he is more inward looking and is avoiding military incursions like a plague,he even pulled troops out of syria, besides kenya is america base of operations in africa, american multi-nationals and companies have their bases in kenya,WRIGLEY-an american confectionary manufacturing company opened a huge plant in athi river the other day-such a company to open in kenya must have surveyed stability in the region before setting up base.

That is the only hope, they will not want to loose a dependable ally over an un-predictable and ideologically different ally.

Acha porojo zako wewe.

vulcan usiwe na shaka bro america supporting somalia against kenya is impractical, its like them supporting north korea against south korea-unthinkable,our economical and ideological ties runs deep.

The real reason why this is happening is because The central government wants to interfere with Jubaland elections.
Farmajoo hired Ethiopian Mercenaries to oust Madobe but since they are not acting under Amisom madate they don't have the right to carry out their operations in Jubaland.

Mbona mnawaogopa sana ethiopia nyie mungiki!
