Kama umewahi kuendesha gari ya manual, utagundua ni ngumu sana ku-"pick up speed faster" ukiwa kwenye gear namba 5. Kwa hiyo ni ivyo ivyo ukiwa kwenye automatic , ni ngumu ku overtake faster ukiwa kwenye OD.

Pia kwenye gari ya manual ukiwa unashuka mlimani na gear namba 5, gari huserereka sana na itahitaji urudi gia za chini la sivyo utatumia brake sana.. Hivyo hivyo kwenye automatic itabidi utoe OD, la sivyo utatumia brake kupita kiasi.

Huwezi sikia gari ya manual wanasema ina gia 4 alafu na OD moja. Ila utasikia wanasema ina gear 5. Hivyo hivyo kwa gari automatic wakishasema ina gear 5 basi ujue OD ni ndani ya hizo gear 5.

Hiyo ndiyo OD. Kama bado unaiona ni "Extra", basi sawa, lakini maana yake ndo hiyo.
