I hope you realize all your statements are contradictory. I do not doubt that you believe everything you are saying, I know the derangement you guys suffer from.Definition of Stupidity: Knowing the truth, seeing the truth, sometimes touching the truth, but still believing the lies. This is what Kenyans do. They believe in their big GDP but their problems which are facing are like the ones which Burundi, Malawi, Somalia, South Sudan etc face. They know this truth but they burry their heads under their huge paper based GDP.
Aha haa haaa no wonder in the eastern Afrika is only Kenya which yaps about GDP.
Kwahiyo unataka kusema uchumi wa Kenya unakua kwa zaidi ya 16% kwa mwaka[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji117][emoji205] ako na IQ ngapi?Magufuli sio tatizo? Remember Magufuli got into power when the GDP gap between Kenya and Tanzania was only 15 b dollars, right now the gap has increased to 47b dollars. What is Magufuli doing?
Nilianza kusikia miaka kumi ijayo since 1990`s. We are in 2020 and you are still singing miaka kumi ijayo.

I hope you realize all your statements are contradictory. I do not doubt that you believe everything you are saying, I know the derangement you guys suffer from.
Here are facts:
i) Kenyan GDP has outpaced Tanzania in the last decade from a difference of $8 billion in 2010 to $45 billion in 2020 i.e Tanzania combined with Rwanda and burundi will still need help from Uganda in order to be equal to Kenyan GDP i.e About 46% of eac GDP is generated in Kenya.
ii) Kenya has a bigger and growing middle class than Tanzania and for your information a growing middle class is actually the sign of a growing economy, not where people are equally poor.
iii) Parts of Kenya have problems not because food is not available in the country but to get food you need to have money and government is not in the business of feeding people i.e. Government is not a humanitarian/charity organization, work yourself in order to feed your family.
iv) An urban poor person in Kenya now uses more products and services than any urban poor person in east africa i.e. The Kenyan urban poor has more stuff than any urban poor person in east africa.
v) The data shows the Kenyan worker is more productive than a Tanzanian worker despite Tanzania having more resources than Kenya.
vi) In sub saharan africa only Kenya and south africa have strong local demand for products and services, which means a lot of the Kenyan GDP is driven by local consumers totalling about 87% of GDP, while the rest is accounted for by exports. The rest Tanzania included, rely heavily on commodities exports like Gold, LNG, Copper etc which account for an average 29% of GDP, even though their exports bring in less money than Kenyan exports.
Unadhani hii ni uchumi ya Tandale. Punguza ujingaIn short I can say you generally made a good analysis. Le me quickly walk case by case.
i) No one is disputing no the size of GDP. However, a number of scholars (including me) are not seeing the GDP (indeed even the par capita income) is a good measure of economic development. One of the criticism being the put forward is the ratio obtained after dividing the GDP to Population is not necessarily depict what is on ground. The truth is the wealth has never been evenly distributed like how the arithmetic shows. (refer the inaugural speech given by Mwal. Nyerere in a first non apartheid Parliament of RSA). So the big economy does not necessarily means good welfare of the citizens. Many countries have big economies, but they have a good number of poor individuals who can't even afford just a single meal. Go to Nigeria, South Afrika etc if at all their bigger economy can move out the poor who stuck in poverty. So bro don't think that the figures are going something on the ground. They are just numbers have very little to do with the real life of citizen.
ii) Good move. We all need to embrace this.
iii) Aha haaa trying sugar coating the bitter truth. The long term strategy will get you out of this.
iv) If you can avail some empirical evidence, will be content.
v) Kindly cite the authority.
vi) Ibid
Wewe una uwezo mdogo wa kufikiri. Development is a gradual change. Time is a factor. Hao wenzetu walianza kupambanana hali yao soon baada ya uhuru since 1960's. Hawakuhangaika kuimsaidia rafiki wala jirani.Wewe tuko 2020
Wachana na reasoning za 1980s hapa,

i) It is indisputable.
ii) This is proven by disposable income for the middle class to spend. evidence is in World bank reports, AFDB reports and the number of malls, luxury retail outlets and international and local food chains in Kenya all around the country.
iii) You have no idea what the food situation in Kenya is. We have overproduction in a lot of counties in the lower parts of Kenya, problem is as a farmer I can not take my product to an area where they can not afford or transportation cost will make it more difficult to make a profit, which is majorly north of Kenya. Also production cost of food is higher in Kenya due to a bigger economy that is why people come to look for cheaper options in Uganda and Tanzania to stabilize prices. That is why we grow high value products for export to bigger economies and buy cheap products from Tanzania and Uganda.
iv) AFDB reports on middle income growth in africa.
v) Productivity report from stanford university and UNIDO among multiple other reports from the world bank. Infact the stanford report found a kenyan worker to be 5 times more productive than a Tanzanian.
