I have two points here
1)I'm so thrilled to know that you religiously follow Kenyan Media to pick news and bring them to JF. I never knew our TV stations have that influence in Tz....It's not a bad thing anyway...I don't know even a single TV station in Tz and I don't aspire to know.
2)The issue here is not about a Kenyan heading Safaricom. In any case we have had Kenyans leading global corporations bigger than Safaricom, Just to name a few:
James Waweru-Vice President Unilever Middle East and Asia
Peter Ndegwa-CEO Diageo PLC Nigeria
Charles Mwangi-Former Senior Director Engineering, Tesla
Dorothy Ghettuba-Netflix Manager, International Originals
The issue is government interference, especially in decision making and Tendering. For a brand like Safaricom, that is the most profitable company in East and Central Africa, such interference which mostly would be political would affect its operations.
