Announcement to the prospective applicants on the second round of application​

Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) informs all prospective applicants that, applications for admission into higher learning institutions for the second round of application, will start on 13[SUP]th[/SUP] August 2012. The second round of application will involve: a) New applicants (Form 6, Teachers, FTC, NTA6 and applicants with foreign certificates) who did not have the opportunity to apply during the first round of application; or b) Applicants who were not selected during the first round of application due to various reasons and whose names will be published in the TCU website or have been notified through their individual accounts of this fact. NOTE: i) Applicants who applied but for some reasons were not selected, are not required to pay another application fee instead they will be required to choose another program by login into their account. ii) The list of applicants who were not selected and hence are required to re-apply will be on TCU website on Tuesday 14[SUP]th[/SUP] August 2012 How to apply Applicants will apply through the Central Admissions System and applications will be on the first-come first-served basis which means that the applicant is required to choose only one program he/she qualifies basing on program requirements given in the ‘Students Guidebook’ available in TCU website. Each programme is tied to an institution and that means the process involves one programme at a particular institution only. Application fee for new applicants · Tanzanians will be required to pay an application fee of TSHS.30,000/- payable through NBC branches country wide, · Non-Tanzanians will be required to pay US$60 through CAS Account at any NBC bank countrywide (TCU-CAS Acc. No.074139000021), and · Non Tanzanians residing outside Tanzania will be required to pay US$60 through CAS account number (TCU-CAS Acc.No.074139000021). The swift code: NLCBTZTX.
