If you are not in position to distinguish slums FROM unplanned settlements, you better shut up your bowel.
Let us not start with this again....those are slums. Calling them unplanned settlements wont make them any better. They are an eyesore!!!

I have been discussing this time and again, if you are not a professional you wont distinguish btn the two. le me give you a small exaple, for engineers they are distinguishing btn mass and weight but for other people who are not in the field they are see them to be used interchangebly. even the lawyers they see the different btn laws and regulations, but for the people who law learned fellows wont see the difference.

Iconoclastes, I'm giving you different pics of Dar Es Salaam aerial views. I want you to zoom in and locate those slums within the city, be honest to yourself, take your time and locate them within these pics. Once you are done, look at downtown Nairobi aerial view and locate Kibera, you don't have to zoom in for Nairobi because it (Kibera) is right there looking at you while smiling. That's the difference between Dar and Nairobi residents, where you guys are proud to live in misery and we don't.. Kibera has now become a tourist destination, ain't that a motherfucking pity for y'all?

you can't call these neighborhoods slums if comprise properties wealth usd 1mio. mfano huwezi ita manzese ni slum wakati kuna nyumba zina wealth kes 50mio. at the same time a high speed and spontaneous gentrification is taking place over these areas.

Ati some buildings there are worth $1m? Haiyaaa!!!

Siyo ubishi tu, did you do the homework I gave you?

Very good, however, this is the outskirt of Nairobi....we're talking about downtown Nairobi where Kibera is the main attraction and tourist flock there to take pictures of the slums and its dwellers.
