Waziri wa ulinzi wa Israel komandoo yoav galant na Waziri mwenzake Lloyd Austin watafanya kikao kizito makao makuu ya wizara ya ulinzi ya Marekani pentagon siku ya jumatano Oktoba 8, 2024.

Taarifa kamili hapo chini:

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant will travel to the United States this week and will meet with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Wednesday, the Pentagon announces.

It will be third visit by Gallant to the US since the start of the war a year ago, after trips in March and June.

He is expected to meet with other senior Biden administration officials as well, though no other meetings have been announced. There is no comment from the Israeli side.

America is a powerful Israel's ally. In early 90's during Operation Desert Storm, Iraq under Saddam Hussein was the most powerful military in the Middle East.

It had the fifth largest army on the planet, 5500 main battle tanks and massive arsenal of Soviet Artillery.

It only took the United States, seven months to completely dismantle the Iraq forces, relegating it to a ramshackle force.

The United States can do the same to Iran, but few things stops them. The Unipolar Moment is gone, US and Israel cannot launch such a massive invasion expecting nations like China and Russia to just stay idle and watch.

Like previous centuries, international politics, are governed by Realpolitik, Balance of Powers.

Israel may retaliate, but surely they'll be no major war. Stakes are too high for global economy and peace in the Middle East.​
