Naona watanzania wanadhani that Kenya is dependent on them. We are only doing them a favor by buying their maize .
In the near future Kenya will be having many more options.
Recently launched Kenya National shipping line (KNS)Will make the Government able to influence pricing for imports and exports.from all over the world .

We are doing your farmers a favour coz we can opt to buy from Ethiopia ,Uganda ,Mexico e.t.c.
Furthermore tunanunua mahindi pesa taslim si ati mnatupea .

Kenya produces more, consumes more and exports more food than Tanzania.
That's a verifiable fact of life.

They are just being diplomatic,they are using what we call appeasement policy. The policy of making concessions to the dictatorial powers in order to avoid misunderstanding .
