Djibouti has also committed to using the Lamu port for their livestock exports because their port is currently congested while ethiopia and Kenya have agreed and started the framework for a common city at the moyale border that will be a special economic zone for both industries from the two countries( Moyale Joint City and Economic Zone project ).
