What did you read in 2013?

Conversations With Myself - Nelson Mandela
True Compass - Ted Kennedy
The Enemy Within - Robert F. Kennedy
No Easy Day - Mark Owen
Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War - Robert Gates

I wish the former African heads of state would have written their memoirs. I can't wait to read memoirs of the likes of Kibaki, Moi, Mwinyi, Mkapa, Obasanjo etc

Kaazi kwlikweli!!

Ila kuna novel ina jina la "nothing last forever" !!! Hata hii hali hailast forever its just a matter of time!!

Thanks for your time and information!! Tutaweza tu..

it is a good culture reading books, i now have a web page which allows me to download 5 books a day so i have unlimited sources of books

As usual, I read more journal articles, chapters/pages in some legal handbooks and textbooks as well as law reports.

The following are the books I read in full in 2013.

  • First Day They Killed by Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers - Loung Ung.
  • Accidental Billionaires - Ben Mezrich.
  • Alex Ferguson: My Autobiography - Sir Alex Ferguson.
  • Fifty Shades of Grey (Trilogy) - E. L. James.
  • Mr. Jones Rules for the Modern Man - Dylan Jones.
  • Rethinking Corporate Crime: Law in Context - J. Gobert and M. Punch.

  • I travelled a lot this year, and wasn't able to carry books with me. So whenever I was home I started a books but by the end of the year I could only finish very few of them.

I must admit I no longer read books........I only read book reviews in Newyork Times and the Guardian Uk via my android. Ensuing from this there are no itinerary excuses of why I can't read more.............and; of course, I have to appreciate that I cover more than a thousand books in a year through the eyes of others. But over the years, I have also developed a mechanism to limit the damage of over-relying upon the opinionated views of the others........the book critics, I mean.

So if I have to go through that over a "thousand books" list I run in another barrier of remembering the titles......that task becomes fuzzier and fuzzier.......so my advice to you is just peruse the book editorials from your android then you will learn more albeit in the telescopic eyes of the book editors who may be nursing some spiel interests of their own! There is this "Mike Tyson" Biography which stood out for me more than the combined reading of mine in 2013 because I love heavy weight boxing........Not the blah-blah I confronted there, though!

From this window I can see your appetites for making big bucks.................Reminds me of a book I read a couple of times in my A-level schooling titled "How to think and grow rich"
