This TANZANIAN airline was supposed to take the East African airspace by storm and place the final nail in the coffin on KQ. Alongside Ethiopian Airlines, they were to be Africa's leading airlines. Our southern brothers were so generous with information back in the day. They fed us with info that we didn't need - when the Fastjet CEO went to the toilet, when the Fastjet pilot farted, when a Fastjet plane was refueled, when small kids in remote villages in Tanzania saw a Fastjet plane flying and shouted 'tuletee mzungu' we were satisfactorily informed. I miss the good old days when we were satisfactorily informed about Fastjet. Btw, do you know currently 1 out of 100 East Africans don't know about Fastjet? I look forward to the day where each and every East African knows about Fastjet - Tanzania's national carrier and Africa's future top airline.
