Importance of this meeting
1. Trump's aides at the White House want the US to get along with other countries even if Trump himself doesn't want to..that's why you see them trying to clear up and explain every little thing the idiot president says or tweets...they take a soft stance when Trump makes diplomatic errors such as describing Haiti and african nations as "shithole countries"
2. US-Kenya direct flights...they are scheduled to commence in october this year...This meeting will pave way for that..
3. Security...Kenya is an ally of the US in maintaining peace and political stability in war torn countries such as South Sudan and Somalia
4. Last but not least, Trade: Kenya is one of the most important trading partners of the US in Africa...look at AGOA, etc...The US President has already met leaders from two of Africa's leading economies...Nigeria and Egypt

finally, they need a president who is bright and understands these diplomatic issues very well...not a buffoon who will go there to say Ze ze ze ze
