Very true!!! Not too long ago, before the development of the germ theory, diseases were said to be curses from god. When a disabled child was born, it was believed that it was punishment for transgressions.

1. Prove to me that diseases are curses from God?
2. Prove to me that disabled child was/is punishment for transgressions?

You need to learn the distinction between "fact" and "theory." I will clue you in, a theory is used to explain facts. Facts for evolution exist, fossil records, homologies, DNA evidence, similarities, observations, among others. The theory explains the facts.

The word theory has many different denotative meanings but only one connotative meaning-as it is applied in science.
