Who will stop the next genocide

6470_tutu%20orig_1_460x230.jpg

[h=3]To the Presidents of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, and Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan:[/h]
As concerned citizens, we urge you to speak out in favour of the ICC at the extraordinary Summit of the African Union (AU) when it meets this Friday. Without the political leadership of Nigeria and South Africa and other democracies across the continent, justice could be buried and the ICC could be killed off. We call on you to lead the fight against crimes against humanity and keep Africa in the ICC.

In just 2 days’ time, African leaders could kill off a great institution, leaving the world a more dangerous place.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) is the world’s first and only global court to adjudicate crimes against humanity. But leaders of Sudan and Kenya, who have inflicted terror and fear across their countries, are trying to drag Africa out of the ICC, allowing them the freedom to kill, rape, and inspire hatred without consequences.

I know that together we can change this. But we have to join hands and call on the voices of reason at the African Union (AU) – Nigeria and South Africa – to speak out and ensure that the persecuted are protected by the ICC. Join me by adding your name to the petition now and share it with everyone -- when we have hit 1 million our petition will be delivered straight into the AU conference hall where Africa’s leaders are meeting in Addis Ababa.

incase you are not aware nobody forced kenya to the ICC and the AU was the first to recommend the it to african countries and they began to ratify the rome statutes. The Au could not sit back and watch westerners trying to use he court as their witch-hunting mechanisms. Desmond tutu is for sale and is just a late comer to the campaign. africans via AU were busy creating their own reforms but the process has been hijacked.

Desmond Tutu has become a disgrace. Instead of placating his western masters, he should be offering alternative solutions to that kangaroo court. The fact that he ignores the fact that some imperialists are using that court to dictate regime change in Africa is despicable. What happened to the great Pan-Africanism that reigned supreme in the 60's & 70's? All we're left iwth these days is Uncle Toms & Aunt Jemimas.

African leaders they are seeking licence to kill, maim and oppress Africans!

Bishop Desmond Tutu,

We all love you very much,,you are one of my heroes.

And because you are one of the people i see as a good example,,
a man of courage and other virtues,,,,it does not mean that you can
not go wrong.

You talk about Kenya,,,you are very misinformed,,you do not know the
truth and it is better you take time and increase your little knowledge
you may have about Africa,,though you are old but very necessary,,,,
for it looks as if you have completely,,none.

You cannot be more 'wiser':eyeroll1: than forty something African president,
including your own president, mr Nzuma,,who see ICC in a different
way,,from yours.

You spent the whole of your life fighting for South Africa and that
is why i do not blame you,,when you make a very wrong judgement
on Africa.

The problem of 2007 in Kenya,,arose when one presidential candidate
refused to accept the results,,called on mass actions and so,,Kenya
went up in flames.

The one accused at Hague,,,were just picked up by a man who was
told what to do and so most of us feel,,that the ICC court is
being directed by people who have their own hidden agenda and
nothing like looking for justice.

So mr Bishop,,,,wake up from your deep slumber and face a new
day,,,in Africa.
