Why Magufuli administration misses the point on Government splurge

Membe hopes two years after sending the opposition back to a drawing board he will go back to the chama cha baba na mama hoping to be received as a lost prodigal son

He fully knows he is gonna lose this election big time then the sizzling question is why he is pursuing winds?

He expects the party boss will treat him like Lowassa but Lowassa is in a different level of political class

Lowassa garnered 42pct of cast votes while Membe will collect just a single digit of cast votes

True, only in God there's peace and hope but in houses of clay there's deception, self serving and miseries

The Biblical prodigal son repented and was forgiven with everything restored to him despite squandering his inheritance

But houses of clays aren't God so they are replete with grudges, selfishness and proclivity to use and dump behaviour...really, understand not why justice is foundation of life and peace

So, Membe like the prodigal son in the Bible may meditate what he is going to say but will be shocked to learn unlike Lowassa his party boss will not greet him beaming widened smiles as he did to Lowassa at Lumumba offices

His boss will assign his juniors to take care of his homecoming party to remind him that he's not that important or that much missed

Membe is rocking the cradle from within and from without because he has been left in the cold

Had he been garlanded with top presidential appointment not necessarily a ministerial one like others who left public office he would have been content

If others like Pinda, Makinda among a handful can be patted in the back with presidential appointments, he deeply feels he too deserves similar treatment after what he adjudges his public service career was nothing but exemplary

But unlike those who are enjoying the perks of this regime, Membe was a serious rival in 2015 CCM internal presidential race

Sadly, the winner is very insecure for reasons which I will not expound today because of scope constraints but will come back at a later day

The deep rooted insecurities of the winner makes it almost impossible to create a team of rivals because he is afraid they may overshadow him

So with an exception of the incognito January Makamba neither of the other three finalists in CCM presidential purge of 2015 received ministerial posts
