We have always been long on applauding both the effort and intent but short in appraising the effectiveness of drastic measures declared and vigorously pursued by our post colonial administrations.

Nyerere was lauded for Azimio la Arusha but he later admitted the policy tools and directions were faulty, and economic decimation was all too much of an eyesore to all of us. The legacy of Nyerere administration will always be soiled by sheer levels of economic mismanagements despite genuine efforts to address causes and effects of our underdevelopment.

Mwinyi administration was accorded a red carpet reverence for the frantic effort to undo "Nyerereism" via the antithesis of the Zanzibar declaration but we all know better the indigenization of our economy took a back seat as the economy was placed in grubby hands of aliens.

Mkapa administration cemented official graft while its successive administration of Jakaya Kikwete approved it in all its pernicious forms.

Then comes Magufuli administration while a couple of weeks in office seems lacking ideas of how to reform the government, and has so far been generating plenty of heat but very little substance.

Sweeteners may taste good on mouth but in the stomach are likely to foment gastric juice notorious for corroding the intestines. What this nation needs is reforms on good governance where accountability has been sacrificed at the altar of nepotism and sycophancy.

We need to restore pre-independence accountability if we are to reach where a president has no business to snatch duties and responsibilities of his juniors but to oversee them.

For start, he needs to acknowledge NEC ought to be fully investigated by an impartial commission how it conducted this election despite its numerous vain claims that the election was free, fair and transparent. We need a legislation to empower that commission but we also need the same commission to investigate thoroughly how this very partisan police interfered with the electoral process. We cannot face another election where UKAWA are adamant they were shortchanged and we have a president who may or may not be a squatter at our IKULU pretending to bribe us with "peremende" and expect for a different result.

On government splurge, we need concrete policies and pieces of legislation like capping staff emoluments based on a ratio of recurrent expenditure. What I have seen; so far, is a battle of nomenclatures which past administrations fought with equal zeal but lost because they never identified policy tools to do it.

One, I truly struggle to see how simply reducing salaries and other forms of compensation will address Tanzania's issues. We need more:

Your proposition, in my opinion, lack pragmatism necessary to run a non-white Nation.

Why?
In any given moment, a president of a non-white country has to balance the interest of his people with the interest of western capitalist white nations.
Leaning too far to the people, is met with aggressive response and destruction in some cases.

Nationalisation of resources, the most effective method of ending individual poverty, in Iran, Libya, Cuba, or Venezuela led to series of accusations which ultimately led to sanctions and destruction of some.

Any internal opposition within these Nations is often amplified by the west.

Meanwhile, chronic violators of human rights such as Saudi Arabia, Mexico, or Hungary; remain safe and allies of the west.

It is then apparent that, if you wish to disturb the global capitalist balance through reforms, you have to maintain internal order and avoid expending political capital on unnecessary confrontations such as reducing politicians pay. While I think their rates are obscene, reducing it will offer meagre benefits compared to taxing alien firms, reducing corruption, and demanding accountability.

Forcing a politician to receive less than 10 million a month is not worth creating a potential western agent. On the other hand, forcing a mining company to pay billions in taxes, increasing revenue collection, ensuring 100% efficiency in infrastructure projects; is likely to yield trillions in benefits with a small prize to pay (creating western enemies).

Strategically speaking, if one looks at China, Russia, or Iran; maintaining internal unity and harmony and the best and effective shield against western aggression.

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT WITCHCRAF?

What does the Bible say about witchcraft?

“Because it is like the sin of witchcraft to rebel: and like the crime of idolatry, to refuse to obey” (1 Kgs 15:23) equivalent of 1 Sm 15:23 in modern bibles).

“You shall not permit a sorceress to live” (Ex 22:18).

“You shall not practice augury or witchcraft” (Lv 19:26).

You masquerade resistance against western aggression as a shrubbery to justify repression against own people.
The examples you gave of Russia, China or Iran what they are going through is really not to fight western imperialism but to stave off domestic political rivals. How do you justify Putin poisoning own people? Is there a real resistance against western imperialism or defending own belly? China is growing into a neo imperial power so a question we need to ask ourselves is can imperialism weaken itself and survive? Iran has no desire to stand against western imperialism but is in constant fear of western culture trumping its rich Persian values..

Part of the hypocrisy in us is fighting western imperialism while immersing ourselves in western culture...you can't have both ways...

The ones mocking mabeberu are donning western undies and socks.. wiping their ass with western toilet paper after squatting in western toilets to relieve themselves from long calls replete with western food excreta .....very proud to wear a western suit ....when sick they hastily board western jumbos to receive western medical attention expressing no remorse of running away from poor medical services at their backyard which they are solely to blame.....and always fighting to belong to western hegemony as an avaricious consumptive satellite... when they loot us they stash their bootleg in western banks of whom they trust more than they trust their own local banks despite minting them loads of cash in terms of taxes, employment, regular injections to stimulate the economy and by extension doling out undeserved legitimacy to govern.....

They always heavily borrow from western nations but will never lend back

They always seek debt forgiveness from mabeberu but never stop borrowing to sate their western appetites

These are African leaders never walk the talkie ...they binge western drugs to extend their unwelcome stay on earth, they depend on western technology to suppress its own people.

But what is confounding, an African despot still unashamed to play double talk...fighting western imperialism with western toys...very ridiculous

But Africa needs to unleash its own human resources and repression will never do that

Tanzania mpya seems only in lipservice of our politicians in CCM but elsewhere we see backsliding in every nook and cranny...train accidents were supposed to be a thing in stored in a museum but nothing really has changed as accidents keep maiming, murdering and committing the victims to poverty with no insurance or compensation worthy its name
