In the ruling, the good professor presented an irrelevant decision of Indian supreme court to claim our constitution was without a structure!

The insidious aim was to show Parliament have unlimited powers to rewrite the constitution in the way they like

If that was true, then the high court erred in law to rule in favour of Reverend Mtikila to a case of independent candidates

The Appeal Court of seven justices brazenly sided with the professor

Later after retirement the then Chief Justice Augustine Ramadhan conceded the decision was politically motivated

That he was under undue pressure to rule against independent candidates

Both the Appeal Court and Professor never understood the law or worse they intentionally misinterpreted it

Our constitution has a structure

We state volubly in our constitution we are building a socialist and self-reliance nation

Can any builder build anything let alone a complex socialist and self-reliance state without a struvture?

So our structure is socialism and self reliance

Inalienable rights are inherent ones and one whether claiming powers from parliamentary, executive, judicial or even individual level cannot revoke them: human rights.

Basic human rights like the right to live nobody can encroach them and those seven justices and Professor Kabudi ought to be eternally ashamed with themselves
