I have always believed our elections are rigged in favour of CCM, and that CCM last vice on power is solely hinged on its ability to starve and deprive the election commission of any meaningful reforms.

On the day, NEC is divorced from the CCM presidency then that will be a day voters' will will be heard and respected.

NEC needs to reform the composition of its commissioners to reflect votes garnered by each party in the immediate election.
