Claiming the opposition should go to sleep and forego their constitutional mandate in a multiparty politics is simply disingenuous!

Also claiming the winners should take it all in a complete disregard of the clear constitutional imperatives should worry all constitution respecters wherever they are regardless of political leanings they cloak themselves in.

I am beginning to wonder how much Magufuli comprehends the oath he took to uphold the spirit and the letter of the constitution. Maybe he did not understand that constitutional oath to begin with!

IGP anakukaribisha kwenye uzinduzi wa kuboresha usalama wa raia pale BIAFRA kinondoni tar 25.6.16. Mgeni rasmi ni Mhe. Rais wa Jamuhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania

Is this not a political gathering? The ironies are many: the police crackdowns on opposition but does the very thing. Arguments of when will the people work as a bastion against political meetings just collapses before our own eyes.

why are thinking of mutiny?@Brown73 May God forbid
hahahaa ilikua utani tu. I mean watoto wa mafisadi...

In Tanzania government succession solely moves with CCM manifesto. What the current Magufuli government is doing, whatever it will do and anything it has done is a continuation of CCM manifesto. Of course we have policy issues the rule of law and other impromptu incidences which will depend on the wisdom of the President. We have a strong faith in his regime and expect him to change with the times for the better of our country's development.

Rutashubanyuma look like i want to conquer with you on this matter though i disputed earlier, look like things gonna fall apart..and its imminent
When Makonda is an RC for Dar then you know this Magufuli thing is a wreck train waiting to happen. Birds of a feather flock together. Magufuli ordered the destruction of a Mwanza petrol station and we ended parting with over a cool billion before hefty and debilitating commercial interest rates cup the astronomical bill. He never apologized nor resigned!

Now his protégé in Makonda has axed four contractors whom he never hired deluding himself on regional commissioner nonexistent hire and fire powers.
Like his mentor in Magufuli, Makonda will leave us nursing a couple of billions from assuming powers he never had in the first place.

We are in a rollercoaster we never asked to be in but some unscrupulous politicians and civil servants who regard themselves as power brokers are behind all this poltergeist!

God have mercy on us!

Utashangaa kuona wako mtaani wanasaga lami na sanasana wanameza unga!

CCM writes and inaugurates an election manifesto but never intends to implement it. Mkapa was more honest and bold on this when he conceded he never read it let alone hoping to fulfil it during a decade in the hotseat!

GO! GO! GO! MAGU, DEVELOP TANZANIA WITHOUT TANZANIAN.

YOU ARE GENIUS AND BROUGHT BY GOD.

You seem to be trying to jump the gun; you must appreciate the fact that this country needed a "Shock therapy" to stop a failing heart from total collapse while bidding time to initiate lasting clinical management. JPM needed to start somewhere; mind you even the cabinet and the new government structures are not in place yet, the parliament is in reccess; how the heck do you expect the president to start with reforms without the structures in place?!

Academic theories are non starters here; the situation on the theatre table determines the surgeons approach to the operation. Give JPM time to work out strategy and approach as he deems fit; afterall the buck stops with him not "Rutashubanyuma or Rutaililamumaisho" or any one of us lesser mortals for that matter!

Jipe muda wa kutosha; nchi haiwaki moto! Ili upate vigezo muhimu vya kufanyia uchambuzi sahihi zaidi.

How true! What JPM is doing is preparing the ground, a solid one, on which to embark on what he has promised Tanzanians! It may be that the road towards those goals aren't very clear right now, but the ones to craft the policies, strategies and actual implementation are the ones JPM is appointing! So let's give him time!!

Guys I have come to a conclusion those aspiring to beam satellite TV the best and affordable outlets ought to involve IPTV!

From there you get all channels for free via internet. The catch is to have internet access of at 1mbs.

Smile offers the best economic unlimited option. All you need is purchase their WiFi equivalent at about 120 elfu then pick monthly tabs worthy 70 elfu.

With IPTV the world is in your pocket for sure. No satellite no cabling just internet provided television and make sure it is HD enabled!

Wow! Thanks smile for giving me another reason to smile widely from ear to ear! And internet is 2mbs.

A solid one without being built on constitutional pillars where a respect to freedom of expression and multiparty form its core layer?

Well, not all day dreamers like you realize their dreams. Their dreams only materialize in their heads but nothing more!

If he was a genius he would have respected our constitution which he swore to uphold to its finest print but not to clampdown on opposition as a means to hide his shortcomings which are too many!

A serious leadership in cost cutting measures will do away with regional and district commissioners' offices with those functions shifted to mayoral offices.

With such political will, we can begin to dream of a better Tanzania.

But trimming confectionery during meetings indicates and perhaps confirms not yet ready to lead from afront!
