While the Supreme Court of Kenya has invalidated the election of Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta as the president the politics and legal ramifications have began to swirl.
Justice Smokin Wanjala is now in scrutiny.
In 2013, he was part of unanimous decision of six justices who declared the election of Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta was free, fair and credible.
Majority of international observers have declared the 2017 was a much improvement from the election of 2013.
The problem for Justice Smokin Wanjala he changed his 2013 stance where he declared the election was free and fair but now he decided though there were much improvement the election was not in accordance with Kenyan constitution and the election laws.
Perhaps, his failure to capture the Chief Justice mantle left him bitter and in search of revenge, and now this presidential petition has given him an opportunity to repay his tormentors in kind.
This interview for the supreme court chief justice may shed some light.
And the AGENDA waaaaaaaaaas...."I'm getting mad guys and I wanna eliminate Lissu, is that OK? Remember I'm paying you...and they all noded to his madness!"The Achilles heel of the security apparatchiks in our country is that they are part of a problem not a solution.
Their emoluments and perks are insensitive to what majority are enduring. So in every sense of the word they are insulated and hence distanced from the plight of the majority poor.
In light of this, what opinion they dish out is self service at best and at worst is inspired by selfishness.
They do not speak for anybody but themselves.
We understand they would like the injustices be preserved that they may continue lording their cost of living upon us.
We will be naive to expect such a privileged coterie to compromise their perks knowing in a zero sum game like ours their loss is our collective gain and vice versa.

As a nation let us stick together and pray for our motherland Tz.
Mungu ibariki Tz. I smell a blood shed somewhere.
Greater things never happen in an overnight! But also, it will be fair if we all play our role as patriots and good citizens by fully adopting social ethics and values! In this Ruling ship of His Excellence,The Head Of State!Let us be prepared to anticipate a lot of melodrama!
because the Boss is not in the mood of observing the rule of law and good governance, provided that his apparati are doing great job on serving the country from being plundered by foreign investors.
What went wrong? When? The President is doing great but not greater to the extent we all wish for our Leader to perform. It is my hope that those people who are responsible for advising our President on matters pertaining leadership shall press the red button soon.
