But why reassert your vows? This is the first time in our history during transfer of power the top military brass see the wisdom to reiterate their loyalty to the Constitution and whoever the constitution empowers.

The mention of "defending the constitution" was curious knowing the role of the military in 2020 elections violated the very constitution.

Perhaps, the military top brass' respect of the constitution is when it is convenient to them like buffeting their employers to illegally extend their reign....

We still see "red flags" everywhere and we are not sure who is really pulling the strings when even the new leader feels the impulse to reaffirm she is the president....we keep wondering why anybody in their right frame of mind will do that unless, of course, power is shifting or there is resistance to accept the constitution inevitability.

More light will be shed once the veepstakes are allocated to someone then we will begin to see who is who as the DEEP STATE reassert itself after five years of getting the cold shoulder...
