Why media in Kenya tells lies, Hotels in Mara are empty n sell beds on discount
I have always known media in Kenya is doing propaganda as far as tourist numbers to Kenya are concerned, my quick search for rooms in Masai mara at www.bookings.com have proven me right as rendered rooms availability even those offered at a discount. As a screenshots below show.
It has to be noted many lodges in the Masai mara are offering discounts up to 68% of the normal rates plus going extra by offering full and all board inclusiveness at this tourism's high season. The situation is different in the Serengeti where a bed goes at an average price 3X that of Masai mara.
When i did the same for the Serengeti no rooms were available meaning full booked as displayed in the screenshot below.
This blatant lie from Kenyan media is a again a proof of a chronic disease by many institutions in Kenya that paint lies the realities. It's time a desperate Kenya learn about branding n marketing from Tanzania. Thank u COLLOH-MZII RELOADED for showing me that page.
