** Serengeti has only 4 properties classified as 5star, Maasai Mara has 20
**Serengeti has 30 hotels/lodges/tented camps, Maasai Mara has 100
**even if occupancy in the Mara is at 50% and Serengeti is at 100%, the Mara will still have more tourists than Serengeti.

price depends on competition..serengeti is expensive to carter for few tourists there

Is what Kenya chose to carter for every Tom Dick and Harry. Strangely, Serengeti is 5x bigger than Mara, if we choose to lower our tariff and build more lodges, that will be the end of Mara.

On that Booking.com Maasai Mara has 5 pages of listed lodges most fully booked while serengeti only has 2 pages and page 2 is not even full [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I once brought here a thread that confirms Kenya actually makes more money than Tanzania sometime back and you were very bitter about it. You guys claim your hotels are more expensive yet when I look on bookings.com, they're actually cheaper than Kenyan hotels.
