There are Tanzanians flying in middle east Airlines but we have been training ours! Hatutaki upumbavu wenu huku! BTW u dont have Bombardier C series to even be considered! Meanwhile..
NB:
No loan was taken to buy any of our 8 aircraft!
I doubt there is a single Tanzanian flying any gulf airline. You have no airline industry to talk about.
KQ has been responsible for training many pilots in South Africa, who are then poached by Emirates and Qatar. Which body pays for Tanzanian pilots' training.
And please don't mention those cessna training schools.
And there is a difference between loan and lease.
Almost half of all aircraft operated by major airlines in the world are leased. It is a proven model and less expensive than outright purchase.
It also helps in specialization. eg. one company can specialize in maintenance, another in catering etc. while the airline just does bookings and administration. This is the modern way of doing things.
Lakini nyie mnataka mfanye mchoro wa choo, mjenge hio choo, mpake rangi, muokote charges, msafishe choo etc.
The only reason you are buying in cash is because no company can lease to you because you don't have a track record.Or Magufuli needs you to think Tanzania is better than Kenya, hence will do the opposite of what we do.
This mixing of 'national pride' and operating companies will cost you very soon.
