World Cup 2014, Brazil: June 12 - July 13

Got it, the supermen of Brazil!

For your info, Nigeria imewahi kutwaa kombe la Olympic la Vijana.

Yeah? Supermen my foot! From their performance last week, the word supermen must have a new meaning! I always believed supermen were supermen, invincible!

In who's book does it say the so called 'supermen' are/ were invincible? Because anyone with an ounce of nous would know that there is no one country that wins the world cup every time. But you have some that win it more than others.

Superman:
First used in Germany by Hermann Rab (1527), and also used by Herder and Goethe. Translated as overman. 1903, coined by George Bernard Shaw to translate Ger. Übermensch, "highly evolved human being that transcends good and evil," from "Thus Spake Zarathustra" (1883-91), by Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900).

Nigga please....tell this BS to the birds.

Yes that is a fact but at the end it remains just what it is, history.

That's right. Facts are what they are. Can't deny them.

This will be remembered for generations, mark my word!

So what? It's not like it's the end of the world. Life goes on and they will be back like they always have.

Does this really matter? Champions are champions however and whichever way they are crowned!

Yes it does matter. It matters because olympic gold in soccer ain't as coveted as the world cup is. Plus, countries don't really send their best players. Teams are only allowed to have just 3 older, experienced players in their squads. Olympic gold in soccer ain't that big of a deal compared to the world cup.

Chenyewe kiliishia wapi?

I regretably do...na hilo limetuganda kama kupe, tutang'ang'ania ushabiki hata pale uwezo wala matumaini ya kupata mafanikio hayapo tofauti na wenzetu...you cant deliver you are out! kaput!

Well, go jump off a cliff, then.

Glad you admit this but what we all witnessed that day?

Have I denied anything?

No, no no no...once is an incidence but twice? To the supermen? To the invincible Brazilians?

So? I said it before and I'll say it again. It happens to the best of them. Germany itself is 4-4 in world cup finals. That means they've lost just as much as they've won. Brasil is 5-2. So their world cup final results are better than Germany's. But I doubt you even know what I'm talking here. I really doubt it.

I disagree, this was no minor setback, this was a catastrophe! Yes, a minor armageddon!

You are entitled to your opinion (regardless of how warped it might be). To me it's just a minor setback for a major comeback.

And who doesnt...Germany, Argentina, Italy, Mexico or Tanzania!

Tanzania and Mexico.

And when was it expected to take off? After WC2014?

Take off? I'm not talking about aeroplanes here.

Yeah thanks, I will do exactly that!

Great! Keep watching this space.

1996 I was a sophomore in college. Not only in college, but college in the United States. And not only in the United States, I was in college in Tennessee before transferring to Georgia State University.

And I presume you know where the 1996 centennial Olympic games were held......

Take that, take that!

Germany World Cup Heroes Return to Huge Fan Party

BERLIN (AP) - At a party 24 years in the making, hundreds of thousands of Germans showed their admiration and adoration for their World Cup winners at a victory parade to the Brandenburg Gate on Tuesday.
The players, in matching black T-shirts bearing "1," lapped up the love by playing up to the estimated 400,000 people packing the "fan mile" in front of the Berlin landmark.
Fans began arriving overnight to secure good spots to welcome home coach Joachim Loew's team and the trophy. Germany's fourth World Cup, the first since 1990, crowned years of work by Loew to modernize the team, and followed near misses at recent tournaments.
"We're all world champions!" Loew told the crowd.
"Of course, it was a long way to the title, and an incredibly tough one in the end. But we're incredibly happy to be here with the fans now."
Mario Goetze, the scorer in the 1-0 win over Argentina in the final on Sunday, was greeted with deafening cheers by the sea of fans waving black, red and gold Germany flags.
Midfielder Toni Kroos led the crowd in a chant of "Miro Klose" - a tribute to veteran striker Miroslav Klose, whose two goals took his World Cup tally to 16 and made him the tournament's all-time leading scorer.
