Yes ni kweli but the mathematics should be proper.
You do know that food security also involves the type of nutrition you get, not just filling up your bowels ie Kenya out performs her neighbors in the nutritional value of the food they eat. Tanzania eat majorly starchy foods like cassava and maize with beans. Kenyans consume a variety of foods normal food like cassava, maize, beans, pigeon peas, soya beans, noodles, potatoes, traditional vegetable, cabbages, kales, cauliflower and broccoli (especially in urban areas), carrots, beef , chicken, pork, wheat, fish, bhindi etc.
It is highly unlikely you will find a kenyan eating a meal without a vegetable . Githeri will almost always have cabbages or kales, fish will almost always have traditional vegetables or kales along with ugali or rice. Chapati and beans will almost always have a good sizing of cabbages. French fries (Chips) will always be served with a salad like coleslaw and a protein of your choice etc.
If you notice a meal is quite balanced in Kenya more than in Tanzania.
This was also noted by WHO who showed that Kenya has the lowest rate of malnutrition in east africa. In kenya the problem is major in northern counties where less than 25% of the country live.
80% of kenyans live in the southern areas of central, western, south and north rift region, Nyanza etc which are very much food secure in both proteins, vegetables and starchy food.

Combine the above with tonnes of fruits eaten everyday in these regions everyday like Mangoes,Oranges, Watermelon, thorny melon, apples, peach and pears etc. We grow a lot of fruits but can not meet demand especially for oranges that is why we import from Tanzania and Uganda to meet the demand.
These regions above represent about 65% of the country in population. but also the these areas are only about 20% of the country in land mass and they are heavily populated. They account for about 80% of agricultural output and about 78% of GDP.
