Verse 1.

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

Chorus.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up... To more than I can be

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

Verse 2.

There is no life - no life without its hunger
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly
But when you come and I am filled with wonder
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

To more than I can be

You raise me up... To more than I can be

My favourite thing about this song is that it means something different to each person who listen to it, to me it represent my strong relationship with my family, how they are with me through darkness and light, to others it's about religious and their relationship with God and others it's about friendship and love.

My point is, alot of people can take something from this song and i feel like it bring us together as humans.

I love the song
