Mimi nilikuwa najua kiasili "Bongo" lilikuwa ni jina linalotumika kwa Mkoa wa Dar pekee sababu kwa "mission town" ilikuwa inahitajika akili sana kuishi mjini. Baadae jina likachukuliwa kumaanisha nchi zima.
