Ni takribani saa mbili na nusu asubuhi katika eneo la wazi la Deera Square lililopo kwenye mji wa Riyadh katikati ya nchi ya Saudi Arabia. Polisi maalumu wa kitengo cha Mutaween wanawatawanya watu waliopo eneo hilo ambao wengine wamepumzika tu na wengine wapita njia. Polisi hawa ni maalumu wanatambulika kisheria chini ya muongozo wa Shari'ah (kanuni za Kiislamu) ambayo ndiyo kwa kiwango kikubwa inatumika kuongoza taifa la Saudi Arabia, kazi kuu ya askari hawa maalumu ni kuhahakisha kuwa Sharia ya Kiislamu (kwa mujibu wa wao Saudi Arabia walivyo tafsiri) inafuatwa nchini humo.
Mutaween wanahakikisha kuwa wananchi wanafuata utaratibu wa vitu kama mavazi ya heshima (kwa mujibu wa Sharia), kutouzwa vileo mitaani, kutouzwa vyakula 'haramu' kama vile nyama ya nguruwe, vijana kutosikiliza nyimbo za kimagharibi au filamu, pia kuhakikisha wanawake 'wanajisitiri' na hawaongozani na wanaume ambao si waume zao au ndugu zao. Askari hawa ambao sare zao ni kanzu pamoja na viremba maridhawa vya kiarabu wanazunguka mitaani kila kukicha kuhakikisha kuwa Sharia inafuatwa.
Leo hii wapo hapa eneo la Deera Square wakiwaondoa watu kwenye eneo hili, ili kupisha tukio maalumu ambalo linatarajiwa kufanyika mahali hapa.
Eneo hili la Deera Square ukubwa wake bado kidogo lingeweza kufanana na ukubwa wa kiwanja cha mpira. Upande wa kulia wa uwanja huu kuna msikiti mkubwa sana maarufu ambao watu wengi husali hapo, na upande wa kushoto kuna majengo ya ofisi za askari hawa wa Mutaween.
Majengo yanayozunguka uwanja huu wa Deera Square yote yana kuta maridhawa za rangi ya njano zinazofanya muda wa mchana jua kali likipiga eneo hili kujiakisi kwa rangi fulani kama ya dhahabu ambayo haijapita kwenye moto.
Pia kwenye kingo za uwanja kumepandwa michikichi mirefu ya wastani na imepandwa kwa ustadi kwenye mishari kwa kupendeza kabisa. Na si hivyo tu, eneo hili karibu na msikiti upande wa kulia kuna chemi chemi ya urembo ya maji (water fountain) ambayo inarusha maji hewani kwa madaha na kuleta msisimuko wa kupendeza katika eneo hili la uwanja huu tupu mkubwa.
Kwa mtu mgeni unaweza kujihoji eneo hili kubwa namna hii lina matumizi gani hasa? Uwanja ni mkubwa mno kutaka kukaribia uwanja wa mpira wa miguu, lakini hakuna shughuli zozote zinazoendelea zaidi ya wapita njia tu. Vitu pekee vinavyoonekana kwenye uwanja huu mkubwa ni kama nilivyoeleza, michikichi iliyopandwa kwa ustadi, 'water fountain' na msitikiti upande wa kulia na ofisi za Mutaween upande wa kushoto.
Muda huu wa saa mbili na nusu asubuhi kama nilivyoeleza, askari walikuwa wanajaribu kuwaondoa watu waliokaa eneo hili au wale wanaopita njia. Lengo lao ni uwanja huu ubaki mtupu. Lakini ajabu ni kwamba kadiri askari wanavyojaribu kuondoa watu kwenye eneo hili, ndivyo ambavyo watu wengine wengi zaidi wanazidi kumiminika mahala hapa wakiwa na shauku na morari kana kwamba wanaenda kushangilia timu yao pendwa ya mpira wa miguu.

Kutokana na watu kuzidi kumiminika eneo hili baada ya askari kuanza kuwatawanya ni dhahiri kwamba hii inaonyesha kuwa hii si mara ya kwanza na hii ni desturi, kwahiyo walikuwa wanajua fika ni nini kilikuwa kinaelekea kutokea mahali hapa.
Hii inawafanya maaskari waweke uzio wa kamba maalumu ya eneo la tukio ('police' scene tape) ili kuzuia umati wa watu usiweze kusogea mpaka eneo la katikati la uwanja huu.
Kama ni mgeni unaweza kujikuta unavutika kusogea mahali hapa ili uweze kujua ni kitu gani hiki cha kusisimua lilikuwa linajiri. Lakini matumaini yako ya tukio la kusisimua yataanza kuyeyuka ghafla mara baada ya kuona magari yapatayo matatu ya Polisi aina ya jeep yakiwasili mahala hapo na polisi kuanza kushuka.
Kwa kawaida ghafla umati wote uliokusanyika hapo unakuwa kimya baada ya kuona magari haya ya polisi. Ukimya unaogubika ghafla umati huu ni mkubwa kiasi kwamba unaweza kujikuta unatokwa jasho la presha kupanda kutokana na kutokujua ni nini kilikuwa kinafuata. Hakuna mtu anayethubutu hata kutingishika au kukohoa, wote wanakodolea macho tu magari haya matatu ya polisi yaliyowasili.
Ukimya na uoga unaotawala nyuso za watazamaji hawa waliojikusanya unaweza kuhoji ni kwanini wefika mahali hapa kuja kushuhudia jambo hili linalotaka kufanyika.
Katika ukimya huu huu mkubwa, wanashuka mapolisi si chini ya kumi na mbili waliovalia sare, sita kutoka gari la mbele na sita kutoka gari la nyuma. Wakishashuka kila mmoja anaenda kujipanga katika eneo lake kuzunguka eneo lote la katikati ya uwanja.
Katika hatua hii ukimya unaongezeka zaidi kiasi kwamba kama ikitokea labda mtu amedondosha sarafu mita ishirini na uliposimama wewe unaweza kujikuta unasikia. Ukimya unakuwa mkubwa zaidi kiasi cha kuogofya, na kinachoweza kukutisha zaidi ni nyuso za morari za watazamaji hawa waliozunguka uwanja huu wa Deera Square.
Baada ya hapo lile gari moja lililosalia (gari la kati kati) milango inafunguliwa, na kisha wanashuka maaskari wanne ambao nao wanakuwa wamevalia sare za kipolisi, lakini tofauti na maaskari wale kumi na mbili walioshuka mwanzoni, hawa wao wanashuka kwenye gari wakiwa wameongozana na mtu mwingine wa tano ambaye yeye hajavalia kipolisi.
Mtu huyu anakuwa amevikwa mavazi meupe sana, au kama wasemavyo watu, "mavazi meupe peeeee"! Yaani weupe ambao unaweza kuumiza macho jua kali linapoakisi. Lakini mtu huyu anakuwa amefungwa mikono yake kwa kamba kwa nyuma na usoni anakuwa amefungwa kitambaa cheusi.
Maaskari wawili kati ya wale wanne walioshuka kwenye gari, wanamshika mtu huyu na kumuongoza mpaka kati kati ya uwanja na wakiisha kumfikisha katikati ya uwanja jambo la kwanza wanalolifanya ni kumpigisha magoti.
Mara chache baada ya kumpigisha magoti wanaweza kumfunika na fuko la kitambaa jeusi usoni (licha ya kuwa tayari amefungwa litambaa cheusi machoni) lakini mara nyingi wanaweza kumuacha hivyo na kitambaa cheusi tu machoni mara baada ya kumpigisha magoti.
Mpaka kufikia hatua hii mtu huyu aliyepigishwa magoti anakuwa tayari kwa ajili ya kuchinjwa.!! Na ghafla tu utasikia sauti kwenye spika zilizofungwa kwenye pembe za uwanja huu, zikitangaza kosa la mtu huyo na hukumu yake kwa mujibu wa Sharia.
Kisha askari mmoja anamfuata huyu mtu aliyepigishwa magoti na kumuinamisha shingo yake kuelekea mbele, kumuandaa kwa ajili ya mchunjajia maalumu wa serikali kupitisha upanga shingoni mwake.
Kisha umati wote unaoshuhudia, pamoja na polisi… wote kwa pamoja wanabakia kumsubiri mtu maalumu wa kutekeleza shughuli hiyo, mtu ambaye labda ndiye aliyechinja zaidi binadamu wenzake wengi kwenye historia ya dunia kuliko mtu yeyote… umati wote, wakiwa kwenye ukimya huu mkuu, na hofu iliyochanganyika na morali wanamsubiria Muhammad Saad al-Beshi.

SIKU MOJA KABLA
Siku moja kabla ya raia aliyehukumiwa kifo nchini Saudi Arabia kuchinjwa hadharani, kwanza mchinjaji Muhammad Saad al-Beshi hutembelea familia ya muhusika ili kuomba msamaha. Msamaha huu anaomba al-Beshi si kwa ajili yake bali anaomba kwa ajili ya mtu anayeenda kumchinja kesho yake ili ndugu zake wapate kumsamehe aondoke duniani akiwa hana lawama kutoka kwa jamaa zake.
Moja ya swali ambalo binafsi niliwahi kujiuliza au yawezekana pia nawe uko unajiuliza muda huu, ni namna gani al-Beshi alifikia hatua ya kuwa "mchinjaji rasmi" wa serikali ya Saudi Arabia? Kuna sifa gani hasa zinaangaliwa? Al-Beshi anajisikiaje kuondoa uhai wa binadamu mwingine kikatilli namna hii?
Katika mahojiano ya nadra sana ambayo aliyafana na Arab News mwaka 2003 al-Beshi aliwahi kueleza ni namna gani alijikuta anaingia katika ajira hii ya "kipekee".
Al-Beshi alianza kazi ya kuchinja watu mwaka 1998, kabla ya hapo alikuwa anafanya kazi gerezani maeneo ya Taif, na kazi yake ili kuwa kuwafunga mikono na vitambaa vyeusi machoni wafungwa ambao walikuwa wanapelekwa kuchinjwa.
Baada ya muda akajikuta anaanza kutamani na yeye 'kupanda cheo' ili awe mchinjaji.
Ikatokea kuna muda serikali ikatangaza nafasi ya kazi kwa ajili ya mchinjaji na hila kusita akaomba nafasi hiyo na kukubaliwa.
Mara yake ya kwanza kuchinja mtu ilikuwa ni mwaka 1998. Al-Beshi anaeleza kuwa siku hiyo alikuwa na hofu sana na hasa kutokana na umati wa watu uliojitokeza.
Beshi anasema kuwa alipofika eneo la kuchinjia, alimuinamisha mtuhumiwa shingo na kumpiga upanga mara moja shingoni kwa kishindo kikubwa na kumtenganisha kichwa na kiwili wili.
Siku yake hii ya kwanza kuchinja mtu, Beshi anadai kuwa hakupata usingizi usiku, lakini baada ya hapo hajawahi tena kuwa na hofu wala kukosa usingizi.
Mpaka sasa ameshachinja mamia ya binadamu kwa ruhusa ya serikali ya Saudi Arabia na inaelezwa kuwa yeye ndiye anayeongoza kwa kuchinjwa watu wengi na ndiye mchinjaji chaguo la kwanza la serikali pale inapohitajika mtu kuchinjwa hadharani baada ya kuhukumiwa.
Beshi anaeleza kuwa kuna kipindi huwa anachinja mpaka watu kumi kwa siku moja.
Al-Beshi anajitetea kuwa yeye si mtu katili kwa sababu ya kazi anayoifanya, kwani anajisikia fahari kufanya kazi hiyo ya mchinjaji kwa kuwa anaamini anafanya kazi ya mwenyezi Mungu kama ilivyoagizwa kwenye vitabu.
Pia anaendelea kujitetea kwamba kazi yake haimtengi na jamii kwa kuwa ana marafiki wengi msikitini na mtaaani, pia ana ndugu na jamaa ambao wanampenda na kumuelewa juu ya chaguzi yake hiyo ya ajira.
Si hivyo tu, bali pia al-Beshi ni mume ameoa na amejaaliwa kupata watoto saba.
Al-Beshi anaeleza kuwa huwa anawaruhusu watoto wake kumsaidia kusafisha damu sime lake pindi akitoka kazini kwenye kuchinja watu Deera Square.
Moja ya watoto wake anayeitwa Musaed ambaye ana miaka 22, ameanza 'kumtrain' ili aje kufanya kazi hiyo ya uchinjaji miaka ya baadae.
Siku ya kwanza baada ya kukabidhiwa jukumu hili la kuwa mchinjaji wa serikali, al-Beshi alikabidhiwa sime maalumu na serikali kwa ajili ya kutekeleza jukumu hili. Sime hili linaelezwa kuwa na thamani ya Riyal 20,000 za Saudi Arabia (zaidi ya dola 6,000 za marekani).
Al-Beshi anaeleza kuwa sime hili ni moja kati ya vitu muhimu zaidi kwenye maisha yake anavyovitunza kwa uangalifu mkubwa sana kwa kuwa sime anaona ni kama heshima kubwa kwake aliyopewa na serikali ya Saudi Arabia ili aweze kufanya kazi ya Mungu.
Beshi haishii hapo tu, bali pia anaeleza namna watuhumiwa wanavyoandaliwa mpaka kuanzia siku mbili kabla mpaka dakika ya mwisho ya kuchinjwa… pia anaeleza kuhusu saikolojia na jinsi mtuhumiwa anavyokuwa "desperate" dakika chache kabla hajachinjwa…
ADHABU YA KIFO HADHARANI NCHINI SAUDI ARABIA
Saudi Arabia ni moja kati ya nchi nne pekee ambazo bado zinatekeleza adhabu ya kifo hadharani. Nchi nyingine ni Iran, Korea Kaskazini na Somalia.
Nchini Saudi Arabia, serikali ya kifalme inatekeleza adhabu hii kwa msimamo kwamba wanatekeleza shari'ah kama ambavyo imeelekezwa katika Qur'an Tukufu. Hivyo basi ikitokea raia amefanya kosa ambalo linapaswa aadhibiwe kifo, adhabu hii inatekelezwa kwa mtu huyo kuchinjwa hadharani kwa upanga.
Makosa ambayo yanaweza kupelekea mtu kuhukumiwa kifo ni pamoja na Kuua, usagaji, ushoga/ngono kinyume na maumbile, ubakaji, uzinzi, biashara ya mihadarati, ukahaba, uasi wa dini au kisiasa, kuabudu sanamu, ujambazi wa silaha, wizi wa kawaida (akiiba mara nne), kukufuru, uchawi na ulozi.
Japokuwa kumekuwa Ufalme wa Saudi Arabia umekuwa ukijitetea kuwa wanatekeleza hilo kwa mujibu wa maagizo ya vitabu vitukufu, lakini watu wengi wamekuwa wakitafsiri adhabu hizi za kuchinja watu hadharani kama njia ya kujenga hofu mioyoni mwa wananchi ili waweze kutii kila jambo ambalo linaamuliwa na mfalme wa Saudi Arabia na wasiweze kuhoji chochote.
Wajuzi zaidi wa elimu ya dini wanaweza kutujuza zaidi kuhusu hili, lakini binafsi kwa kadiri nilivyotafiti, nilichokiona kwamba hukumu nyingi za watu nchini Saudi Arabia juu ya kuchinjwa hadharani, japo zinatolewa kwa mtazamo wa kidini lakini zinaegemea zaidi katika upande wa aina za hukumu za Tazir badala ya Hudud
Binafsi sina utaalamu sana kuhusu dini, lakini kwa "a, b, c" za dini ninazofahamu, maoni yangu ni kwamba (nakaribisha kusahihishwa kama siko sahihi) niseme natambua kwamba chini ya Shari'ah, kuna aina tatu za hukumu. Tazir, Qisas na hudud.
Qisas ni aina ya hukumu ambazo zinakuwa baina ya pande mbili au mtu na mtu, yaani namna gani ya kumlipizia mtu aliyekutenda jambo fulani baya.
Kwa upande wa Hudud, hizi ni hukumu ambazo zimeonggelewa moja kwa moja kwenye Qur'an. Yaani kwamba mtu akifanya kosa fulani basi adhabu yake ni kifo hadharani. Hukumu hizi na makosa yake zimetajwa moja kwa moja kwenye Qur'an na kwenye hadith.
Chini ya hukumu hizi, kuna angalizo/tahadhari kubwa inatolewa ili kuweza kuepuka adhabu ya kifo hadharani pale inapobidi. Kwa mfano mtu aliyehasi dini anaweza kupewa nafasi ya kutubu na kurejea tena kwenye dini na kuondolewa adhabu ya kuuwawa hadharani.
Halafu pia kuna hukumu za Tazir. Hizi ni zile hukumu ambazo zimempa mamlaka jaji wa mahakama (Kadhi) kutoa hukumu kwa utashi wake kutokana na makosa husika kutotajwa moja kwa moja kwenye Shari'ah kwa mujibu wa maandiko.
Sasa kwa maoni yangu, nchi ya Saudi Arabia wanatumia mwanya huu kushinikiza adhabu ya kifo hadharani ili kujenga hofu kwenye mioyo ya wananchi wake.
Jambo hili limekuwa linaleta shida sana kati ya Saudi Arabia na watu wa haki za binadamu. Kuna makosa ambayo raia wa Saudi Arabia wanachinjwa hadharani ambayo hata wanazuoni wengi wanaamini kwamba hayako sawa kidini bali ni juhudi za Ufalme wa Saudia kuwaziba midomo raia 'vimbele mbele'.
Kwa mfano moja ya utata mkubwa kuhusu adhabu hii ya kifo hadharani ikitokea baada ya polisi wa Saudi Arabia kuwakamata vijana wawili walioitwa Ali al-Nimr na rafiki yake Dawoud al-Marhoon kwa kosa la kuandamana mwaka 2011 kupinga utawala wa Kifalme nchini Saudi Arabia. Kipindi vijana hawa wanakamatwa walikuwa na miaka 17 pekee.
Siku chache baadae alikamatwa muubiri wa kiislamu maarufu nchini humo kipenzi cha vijana anayeitwa Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr (mjomba wake Ali al-Nimr) kwa kosa la kutoa mawaidha yenye maudhui ya kupinga serikali.
Wote hawa walikatwa mwaka 20111 na 2012, na mpaka kufikia mwaka 2015 wote walikuwa wamehukumiwa adhabu ya kifo kwa kuchinjwa hadharani.
Hukumu hii ili amsha hasira kubwa ya mashirika ya binadamu mpaka kufikia hatua utekelezaji wa adhabu kwa watuhumiwa hawa watatu ukasogezwa mbele, lakini bado wangali gerezani wakisubiria kuchinjwa siku yoyote ile. (Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr walichinjwa mwaka jana, January 2, 2016 pamoja na raia wengine 47 kwa pamoja).
Lakini kila hii haimaanishi kwamba hakuna watu wanaochinjwa kila siku kwa amri ya serikali ya Saudi Arabia.
Tumezoea kuona vyombo vya habari vikiripoti kuhusu ukatili wa kikundi cha ISIS kutokana na kuwachinja mateka wao wakiwa wanawarekodi, lakini uhalisia ni kwamba serikali ya Saudi Arabia inachinja watu wengi zaidi kuliko ISIS. Pengine habari za ukatili huu unaotekelezwa na serikali ya Saudi Arabia haukemewi sana kwenye vyombo vya habari kutokana na uswahiba wa serikali hiyo na mataifa ya kimagharibi yakiongozwa na Marekani.
Mfano mwaka 2011 inakadiriwa kuwa watu 26 walichinjwa hadharani.
Mwaka 2013 zaidi ya watu 78 walichinjwa hadharani.
Mwaka 2015 jumla ya zaidi ya watu 158 walichinjwa hadharani.
Mwaka 2016 zaidi ya watu 153 walichinjwa hadharani, ambapo watu 47 kati ya hao walichinjwa kwa pamoja (mass beheading) siku ya January 2, 2016.
UTEKELEZAJI WA HUKUMU YA KIFO KWA KUCHINJA HADHARANI
Kwa desturi siku ambayo hupendelewa kuchinja watu waliohukumiwa huwa ni siku ya Ijumaa asubuhi kabla ya jua kuwa kali au baada ya swala ya adhuhur.
Mwanzoni nilieleza namna ambavyo raia wengine wanaondolewa kwenye uwanja wa Deera Square ili kupisha zoezi hili.
Pia nimeeleza namna mtu huyu anavyoletwa mpaka hapa uwanjani akiwa amefungwa kitambaa cheusi na kupigishwa magoti. Baada ya kupigishwa magoti, ndipo anaingia mchinjaji ambaye mara nyingi atakuwa ni Muhammad al-Beshi akiwa na jambia lake kiunoni.
Kama mtu huyu anayechinjwa ni mwanamke, basi ni lazima aletwe hapa akiwa amevalishwa hijab na akifika hapa hakuna mtu yeyote anayeruhusiwa kumshika zaidi ya al-Beshi. Lakini kama ni mwanaume basi unafuatwa tu utaratibu wa kawaida wa kufunga kitambaa usoni (hata mwanamke naye lazima afungwe kitambaa).
Al-Beshi anaeleza kuwa katika kipindi hiki, mtu huyu anayetarajiwa kuchinjwa anakuwa dahifu mno kisaikolojia kiasi kwamba karibia mara zote huwa hawaletiushkeli wowote bali wanatij kila wanachoambiwa. Ni kana kwamba wameshaitoa roho zao kwa mauti, yaani hawana tumaini tena. Al-Beshi anaeleza kuwa mtu huyo anakuwa mnyonge katika kipindi hiki kiwango ambacho huwezi kushuhudia binadamu katika maisha ya kawaida.
Japokuwa anaeleza kuwa wapo wachache ambao huongea maneno ya huzuni na kulia kuomba huruma wasamehewe kitu ambacho (msamaha) hakijawahi kutokea.
Baada ya al-Beshi kuchomoa jambia lake kiunoni, anamsomea hukumu ya kosa alilolifanya huyo mtu na kisha kumkumbusha kutaja/kusoma "Shahada" huku awe anainamisha kichwa chake mbele akiwa hivyo hivyo amepiga magoti. Kisha al-Beshi anainua jambia juu na kulishusha shingoni kwa mtu huyo kwa nguvu, na kwa pigo moja tu anatenganisha kichwa na kiwili wili.

Pigo hili moja la jambia linalotenganisha kichwa na kiwiliwili, kinakitupa kichwa chini na kubiringika kama kichwa cha mdoli kichodondoka chini huku kikiachwa mzoga wa mwili ukidondoka pembeni yake ukibubujikwa na damu kutoka kwenye shingo ambayo haina kichwa tena.
Ndani ya kama dakika mbili hivi, wasaidizi wengine wanakuja na kuokota mabaki ya mzoga huu wa binadamu na kuupakia kwenye gari inayosubiria pembeni.
Sasa hapa inategemea na hukumu ya huyu marehemu ilivyoandikwa na Kadhi.
Kuna baadhi baada ya kuchinjwa hukumu yao inaamuru kuwa miili yao ininginizwe sehemu ya umma kwenye mti mrefu au 'crane' kwa siku tatu au nne au saba kutegemea na hukumu.
Lakini kama hukumu ya mtu huyu haisemi chochote kuhusu mwili wake kuning'inizwa hadharani basi maiti hii inapelekwa mpaka mochwari ambapo kichwa kinashonwa tena kwenye kiwiliwili kwa Uzi na sindano na kisha mwili unazikwa.
Mpaka hapa hukumu ya kifo cha kuchinjwa hadharani inakuwa imekamilika.

(Note that after God promises the Israelites a victory against Babylon, the Israelites actually get their butts kicked by them in the next chapter. So much for an all-knowing and all-powerful God.)

HALF OF PRIESTS AND BISHOPS ARE GAY
As much as half of priests and bishops are homosexual.
Here’s the headline: As much as half of priests and bishops in the U.S. may be homosexual. Now the details.
Back in 2000, just as news of the homosexual priest sex abuse crisis was beginning to break, the Kansas City Star did an in-depth exposé on a horrible topic: the large number of homosexual priests dying of AIDS. The newspaper's reporting brought to public light, for the first time on this kind of scale, the issue of homosexuality in the priesthood — albeit through the tragic lens of AIDS.
The newspaper conducted extensive research into the related issues of AIDS and homosexuality within clerical ranks and religious communities. Far from denying the paper's stories, the bishop of Kansas City at the time, Raymond Boland, admitted the findings were true and said, "Much as we would regret it, it shows that human nature is human nature."
The issue of the AIDS death aside (God rest their souls), it reveals the reality of homosexuality in the ranks of the ordained — and not just its presence, but its overwhelming presence.
The same time the KC Star was publishing its series of reports, another report, much less known, was also being circulated, this time in private meetings in the Church. It was prepared by the National Federation of Priests' Councils, a group born from the liberal days of the Sexual Revolution in the wake of Vatican II.
In its 34 pages is a very vivid discussion of the AIDS crisis at the time among priests owing to the large number of homosexual men in the presbyterate. Its contents contain discussions of how each diocese and religious order should go about preparing for the financial strain of caring for so many priests with AIDS. It makes recommendations about whether to screen seminarians for HIV, a policy eventually adopted across the country. Experts in the field talk about the arrested psychosexual development of homosexual men in the seminary and the priesthood.
The research and investigations being conducted back in 2000, both from the clerical organization and secular media outlets, began unearthing disturbing parallels. Priests and even bishops were dying from AIDS at an alarming rate. In 1995, New York auxiliary bishop Emerson Moore died of AIDS in a Minnesota hospice. Across the country, estimates from assorted experts put the number of Catholic priests dying from the disease at as high as 1,000 in roughly a 10–15 year span. Numbers were showing that priests were becoming infected and dying at a rate of as high as 10 times the national average.
All this strongly suggested that the number of homosexual men in the Catholic priesthood was much higher than even the most suspicious had guessed. It wasn't long before the truth started coming out, tied as it was to the AIDS death news.
Numerous independent sources inside the Church began polling and interviewing and questioning and researching. Their results were jaw-dropping. One survey done by a New Jersey Franciscan priest and researcher revealed that 45 percent of 500 priests surveyed volunteered that they were gaym and that one in four of them had AIDS — proving a rampant promiscuity.
Over the years, a large number of surveys, polls and research have produced a wide range of estimates of the percentage of men in the ranks of the ordained who are homosexual: as low as 15 percent all the way up to 58 percent. That compares to the overall national percentage of about 1.5 percent.
Even if the lowball estimate of 15 percent of priests are gay is right, it would still be 10 times the national average. And if the high end is closer to reality, then over half of all men in the priesthood and episcopate are homosexual, and would represent a population almost 50 times the national average.
Where are we going with all this? Underscoring some of our reports from last week that the Church in America and other countries of the West is controlled by a homosexual collective — the most in-your-face example of which is the recent outlandish scandal and alleged cover-up in the archdiocese of New York.
The destruction rained down on innocent souls in the care of Cdl. Timothy Dolan and his New York archdiocese chancery is shameful, scandalous and sinful — and it has happened as a result of one accused homosexual priest and the extensive cover-up and excusing of his actions by influential and high-ranking officials in the chancery and even inRome.
This week's "Mic'd Up" begins to unravel the cover-up and peer more closely at the civil case, ecclesiastical case as well as a potential criminal case which could bring this whole sordid mess crashing to a conclusion.
Here is the situation in a nutshell: The American Catholic Church is largely controlled by homosexual clergy and their allies. Those not in the network are powerless to confront it owing to its vast influence and fear factor, as well as not really understanding how it operates. The Catholic establishment media won't get within a million miles of this issue of the homosexual collective because they too are scared.

It's why we can pour resources into a story like the New York scandal and use it as a springboard to help you understand the even larger stakes involved. The power of this homosexual collective must be broken and the first step in that is exposing it.
